Most partnerships with a sniff of the final/glitterball get on really well while on the show. It’s when the final is over and the glitterball has gone home with someone else that the PR can’t be bothered any more.
She did say in an article in May last year that they were still close and talked loads, and they liked each others posts up to September last year and she kept liking various ones after that , supporting Kaye on her posts , but was blanked by him from the end of September, so it’s a bit one sided. They seem to have actively avoided each other this year, despite being at the same events quite often. Maybe they do nod in each other’s direction but it’s never on anyone’s stories anyway.
I met her at an event last year and she was absolutely lovely and chatty, and not as loud as her on screen self! Anyway she seems to be winning at life, and glowing and happy, so good for her.

Watching Blankety Blank the other night I was thinking AJ must be the only person who can make Brian Blessed seem quiet 😆
I think the GC won on that score, hands down

Apparently it wasn’t a fire it was orange netting blowing in the wind

Definitely a slow news day 🤣

Kai might just be one of those blokes - of whom, sadly, I've known quite a few - who can't have any pre-existing close female friends once they're in a serious relationship.

I see Gio and Pasquale seem to be imitating Lakita - they are putting on dance classes across the country on the days of their tour performances. Gio never stops making money.

I think it was just a case of backing away from showmance stories when the new series came round. It must be hard to keep up with the ‘old‘ partnership when you are needing to concentrate on the new one (this did not trouble Gio and we know how that ended). Strictly is a full on job for the pros however long they are in, especially the first weeks. I just think it was a partnership that was a working relationship that lost its importance.

I was looking at ticket prices for individual tours at the same venue. The most expensive seats for Graziano Di Prima: Believe was £55, for Johannes Radebe: House of Jojo it was £62.50 and Giovanni: Let me entertain you was £121.50!

Because they’re no longer contractually obliged to. He also did an interview where he more or less called her a pest
He also basically dissed any partners he’s had ( don’t forget he’s done 4 seasons on dwts as well), complaining they want attention and are messaging 24/7, as if it was a massive hardship. Surprised anyone wanted to be partnered with him after that.

I’m seeing all 3 next year and that sounds about what I was seeing for our local too. As well as Pro tour I’m basically spent up for the year now. I hasten to add I didn’t pay the top prices!

I don’t think that’s fair to Kai tbh. A lot of the pros have done interviews where they have said it’s physically & mentally very difficult to partner a celeb considering the amount of emotional support they require, Gio and Katya included. If I remember correctly he never actually said anything bad or anything that wasn’t true 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kai is a brilliant pro and I think that’s proven in the fact they trusted him with Angela Rippon, who although divided opinions on here, was definitely viewed as the high profile celeb of this years cast. I hope he gets someone half decent next year as we have all seen what he can do, his choreography is some of the best on the show.

I went back to see what Kai said that was so bad, but I could only find this:

Is there something else as this seems fine to me - not dissing any of his partners but explaining that it's demanding for the pro to be a celeb's dance teacher, therapist, choreographer, friend etc which we all knew anyway.

I'm actually a bit disappointed as I expected him to have said something like, "Yeah it bleeping sucks being a pro, all my partners have been an absolute pain in the arse, needy fuckers, and I've fantasised about drop-kicking every single one of them."
