(If Bobby is repeating a contempowaft and Ellie repeating her AS, is there anything to pick up about the showdances there?)

I'm not sure as I don't think the show cares enough about variety and balance - last year Fleur did three uptempo numbers in the final. I am still vainly holding out for Ellie to do a Broadway/big band showdance but I know it's doomed.

The only good thing is that the winner gets the glitterball in their couple's pick outfit, so both Ellie and Layton will look nice.

Dianne along with Bobby both need media training.. but also I’ve noticed since she has joined Strictly Dianne has always loved attention especially from the press. I heard a rumour from when she was with Anthony Quinlan that Dianne has sold stories to the press or told paps where she’s going to be. Dianne was quite jealous of the attraction Gemma and Gorka’s relationship were getting at the time. Joe on the other hand is very well media trained and seems to not like the mainstream attention. I remember a few weeks after they confirmed their relationship during the strictly tour a pap wanted to ask them a question and Joe ignored him completely and walked off meanwhile Dianne stood there all smiley waiting for the question and the pap asked whether they were too affectionate and ‘all over each other’ and then Dianne finally proceeded to walk off annoyed… Her face before and after the question 😂

CC seems a really odd choice in the final when you’ve got a show dance as well. The Facebook Karens go on & on about Layton not doing any traditional dancing and then you’ve got Bobby with a CC and a show dance in a Latin & ballroom final.

The absolute cynic in me thinks it’s been chosen by desperate Dianne in a last ditch attempt to win after being in the bottom two again. She knows they are up against it.

Nobody gets voted out - we will never find out who came 2nd and 3rd!

I'm hoping for quickstep for Layton for judges' pick and paso for Ellie (the moment she became a contender). I wonder if the judges will want a ballroom for the King of Ballroom, but I can't rememeber his other ballrooms bar the QS

I think B & D said in a youtube video a couple of weeks ago they would like to do the samba again if they make the final so if the judges picked it for their choice then why not go for the CC? I mean it scored high and people liked it 🤷‍♀️

He did that icky foxtrot where they rolled around the floor, a Viennese Waltz I can't remember for the life of me and that American Smooth where Dianne legged it up the stairs for no reason.

I think they might pick his samba and he'll do a Gilkisson special showdance with ballroom elements.

Ahh I thought they used to announced third place then it was down to the final two.

Dianne is in a long term relationship with the multi millionaire media man himself, head honcho of MVE managment, consultant of something or other at the BBC and king of click bait on YouTube - shes not short of profesional 'guidance' and training believe you and me .

They mixed it up. Lisa and Brendan did their showdance after they were elinimated (and we thank them). Sophie was sent home before getting to reprise the Charleston and Pamela’s new dance of AT remained unseen.
