She's got a couple of sooperfans on here as well!!!

At points during last series, I thought I was posting on DS the comments I was getting here cos I wasn't fond of Fleur's Beyonce tribute act.

Needlessly say, I'm underwhelmed. This lassie has been presenting items on SNT for a few years now and yet loads of people say they haven't seen her doing any tv presenting. Such is her impact.

Suppose the only good thing is that its not Stacey Dooley or Alison Hammond.

Gawd, let's hope we don't have to look forward to Fleur Wars on DS. Still, at least the excitement has distracted from Gio fans arguing on FB about whether or not Rose was invited to his sister's wedding this week in Sicily.
[nb, pace the BBC series about the wonders of Sicily, funny that he is back in the UK two days later to rake in some cash teach some dance classes! Gotta get that bag..]

You couldn't pay me to watch anything Ant and Dec present, and I don't think I'm alone in that. If that's where her presenting has been, then I don't think it's her lack of impact that's the cause of people not having seen her. It's because Ant and Dec are shite.

100% can't stand Ant and Dec, so haven't watched SNT for years so wouldn't have known Fleur was on it!

I wasn't her biggest fan when she on the show, but she did well and I think she'll be a good fit for ITT!
 
I remember thinking the first night, oops she can't take criticism.
I was so wrong.
I knew that I had liked her on X Factor.

She fought her way through on Strictly, taking everything on board that was said to her (sometimes not very nicely by Shirley) and working on it. She and Vito were a great match.

I don't watch Saturday Night Takeaway so I have never seen her in a presenter role.
But I think she will be good. I'm delighted for her.
 
I can't bear Ant & Dec either and would never watch SNT (just about manage IAC with them and that's it), so definitely not clued up on her presenting there.

LadyLav trying to defend Gio on the unpopular opinions thread claiming he's been given the "full range of celebrity talent". Sure Jan.

Does she have a special red Gio phone that goes off the minute anyone mentions his mane, so she can swoop in and defend?

Ellie T got the Bakeoff: The Professionals gig, so she'll be busy doing that, good for her, she gets to swan around a kitchen for 10 weeks being funny and eating fancy cakes made by top patisserie chefs, it's the dream gig.

Fleur was a warm, bright presence in all her appearances on the main show and on ITT last year, and seemed to bond incredibly well and incredibly quickly with so many of the pros and other contestants, I'm sure she'll do well. Plus, more of her and Vito being incredibly beautiful dorks together!
 
Unlike a lot of folk here, I didn't warm to Fleur last season and I do watch SNT and find her stilted as a presenter. But it's easy solved, I'll just give ITT a miss.

And at the risk of being blocked out of this thread, me and the old dear went to see Greatest Day and Jayde Adams was actually quite good 😱😱😱

I know, I was shocked too!!!
