I'm not surprised because Angela has been so inconsistent but I'm disappointed that Layton did indeed fall into the dance off.

As for Shirley saving Angela - get to duck.
 
Just one thing re Shirl saying she would have saved Angela - Krishnan was kinda chuffed despite everything that Shirl said she would have saved him. I know that's beside the point and imo Layton was definitely the one who deserved to stay. I grew to like Angela - not that I ever disliked her. I think she hides herself behind humour. And I loved her partnership with Carlos.

Shirley has been consistently useless at her job this series. All bar Craig they must be on some brainwash tonic before the show. Craig likes to keep a clear head, ohhhh and to ensurehe leave his 10 paddle safely in the dressing room.

I'm not entirely sure Shirley is that kind (if you are saying she saved Angela so she wasn't completed deflated by it all).

Yeah he has done well if your comparing to last year but I guess the more unpopular & not as good dancers have now all been eliminated starting from last week so unless he scores at the top of leaderboard AND gets high in the public vote then the dance off will be his home from now until the final which he will make as I see no one beating him in a dance off and Ellie being the pretty much nailed on winner now wont be in the DO; she is the only contestant left who could really beat him in a DO.

But they aren’t supposed to know who the others vote for … and with Shirley’s vote counting double (which is a whole different gripe and conversation) it only needs one of the others to have a moment and it’s goodnight Vienna

Angela S and Carlos: Foxtrot, Quickstep, Rumba, Salsa, Couple's Choice
Annabel and Johannes: Foxtrot, VW, Rumba, Salsa, AT
Bobby and Dianne: Quickstep, Waltz, Paso Doble, Rumba, Salsa
Ellie and Vito: Quickstep, Tango, Waltz, Cha-Cha-Cha, Couple's Choice
Layton and Nikita: Foxtrot, Waltz, Charleston, Paso Doble, Rumba
Nigel and Katya: American Smooth, Waltz, Charleston, Samba, AT

one dance next week, 2 dances semi final week, 2 dances to be dropped.

I *think* they have to give their votes before they speak so that the graphics come up in time, so Shirley can't just say after 'oh I'd have saved so-and-so' (well she can say it, but if it came to the bit her vote would be her vote).
