I’m so sad Krishnan has gone 😢 I think he’s one of my favourite contestants, not for ability but for his joy and positivit that made me smile every week. I think I’ll start watching CH4 news to get my Krishnan fix.

Fgs can we please leave Angela in Blackpool and not bring her back to Elstree! Dump her at the top of the tower and get the bus started without her.

How could they have saved her above Krishnan and kept a straight face is quite simply a fix

I think even Kai would choose that option, he looked so uncomfortable when they were saved this week. Also must be gutted to knock out his bestie as well (Lauren). Him and Lauren really are spectacular together, they just look like the same time travelling era as well.

God what a man child. Seriously what did he expect? Poor Karen has awful choices with men

The bin isn’t good enough for this man…

Have been poorly all weekend and couldn’t hack the pace here for the main show (I missed y’all though 😆) but I’m really sad Krishnan’s gone as he gives me a lot of joy and I think Lauren did an outstanding job.

Rippon was always going to get to Blackpool whatever it took, so another week of that bloody foot in Kai’s face awaits (yes I’m bitter!).

I’ve always enjoyed watching Layton and Nikita but my eyes were always drawn to Nikita but last night it was Layton who I couldn’t take my eyes off. This poster on digital spy summed things up well.

Laytons face after the dance with the audience going wild behind him will be etched on my brain for a long time.

I was saying this to my husband on Saturday night, when Leyton first started he himself said he wasn’t following what Nikita was telling him but quickly realised that he’d get on better if he did - and it’s like night and day from thereon in.

I have to watch myself with people with confidence (I think because I don’t have much in myself) and I admit I wrote Leyton off as someone I wouldn’t enjoy watching in the first couple of weeks because his confidence was coming across to me as arrogance. Although it is different styles I think he is a ringer (having the level of rhythm and timing and stage presence he does) but he’s also humble and keen to learn and definitely bringing out the best in Nikita.

I thought he would be destined to be another ringer who gets to the final but doesn’t win but now I’m not so sure

Sorry if this has been mentioned already earlier in the thread...but if anyway needs cheering up after this weeks result...go and watch the video of Krishnan, Lauren and Vito singing a Boyzone song on Lauren's insta. P.s. Vito is wearing a vest.
Aw Vito and Krishnan’s bromance made me
emosh!
Yet another thing lost by keeping the Rippponator in at all costs

As confident as Layton is I do think there is vulnerability there too and sometimes the confidence has a hint of bravado to hide that.
One thing I did notice looking back at all their dances is how they both respond at the end of the dance (apart from after the AT where Nikita stayed in character and Layton was visibly overwhelmed). Nikita always shouts out and slaps Layton or the floor in triumph because he is competitive and he knows they have ‘slayed the house down’. Layton always grabs Nikita for a hug (and who can blame him 😘) and I feel that he does look to Nikita for reassurance. Layton has been a stage performer since a very young age and is very flamboyant but is usually playing a role. This is him putting himself out there and sadly getting a lot of hostility which I think does get to him.

I'm expecting nothing but pure sass, lust & filth from Layton & Nikita 🔥

Rippon made a mistake TWICE, all that usual 'judging on the dance off alone' didn't factor at all..... her 'come dancing' moment at Blackpool was earmarked from the start.

Krishnan really was the contestant that SCD was made for. A non starter tuned into a joyous, confident runner. The judges would do well to remember that..... bastards!

BIB - I misread that as Nikita slaps Layton on the floor in triumph! Like, fuckin' ell, chill out, Nikita 😂
