Bafta stealing, bastardizing carbonara, Jowita's rebound guy 😉. Oh Arduino how could you?

I've never heard that part of the story, it makes it even funnier.
I kept all the stories for ages, just because they made me laugh so much.

:love::love::love::love::love::love::love:

That was my first thought when I heard the song. I’m sure it’ll be dedicated to his mum and those he loves but the lyrics at least suggest the dance will focus on them loving each other! It’s a funny song to dedicate to your family .. but then Adam did a boyband medley to celebrate his brothers so here we are! Maybe it’ll be all about celebrating Layton & who he is but I fear that would go down like a led balloon!

Urgh, another hip-hop/commercial CC. Almost makes me miss the year that contempo-waft featured every week.
It'll be back to playing Layton bingo: chaine turns, a back bend, jazz hands, that thing he does where he turns while looking intently at the camera. Bingo!

Angela bingo is easier: leg extension, slip ignored by the judges, disapproving stare.

I wish they’d drop couples choice or at a minimum bring back the 3 choice genre. I hate this free for all, you can’t compare any of them with each other or against anything else. And the vast majority are terrible.

One of the very few couples choice which I will watch on repeat was Helen and Gorkas to Mein Herr last year, i loved everything about it and given all the grief she had had in her personal life, it was just the perfect FU to her scumbag, cheating ex husband. Win win!

Just watched the clips posted of Krishnan playing guitar and Lauren singing they really do seem to have a lovely friendship I hope he isn't thrown straight back in the 'negative' parts of his job. I know that is not worded well but couldn't find the words which seemed appropriate with everything that is in the news at the moment.

I'm almost tentatively hopeful for Layton's Couple's Choice? I've been hoping against hope they'd skip it instead of basically anything else, though obviously they were never going to be allowed to skip Producer's Couple's Choice, but the song is such an odd choice I'm intrigued. I don't know what song/style I thought they'd have but it definitely wasn't anything close to this.

The main thing I'm curious about is how whatever it is (something jazzy, presumably?) is going to be a partner dance. Often the CCs have to shoehorn it in, like Helen and Gorka's where he wasn't much more than a spare part. I really can't envision how it's going to work, but hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

I am so sad that Krishnan has gone. :cry: I'm never ever one to cry fix, however even the way the judges delivered their results at the dance off, reeked of awkwardness. Disgraceful decision and all so high kick ballet dancer Angel blinkin Rippon can get to Blackpool.

Why don't the BBC dress her in a pouffy 'Peggy Spencer' dress next week , let her do another sedate dance and be done with the nostalgia schtick.

I'm raging:mad:
