Yeah the pressure of not having to get it right in one week must be a whole load off, and who knows how that changes your retention of steps and performance

It's especially annoying because there've been several routines where you can see someone saying something that looks like more than just a 'yeah' or 'come on,' that doesn't end up in the clip.

I remember one time that super pissed me off was 2 years ago, Sara and Aljaz's rumba. There's a bit near the end where it was debated over whether she'd made a mistake or if it was just an odd bit of choreography, and you can see him talking extensively to her at that bit, but it wasn't in the clip.

I get why TPTB wouldn't want any mistake that wasn't picked up on the night being revealed, but what's the bloody point of releasing the hidden mics if they don't pick up anything interesting?

I think it was speculated on here that they weren't allowed to post it until Strictly finished, but I didn't think it was actually confirmed that someone told them to stop.

I don’t remember any intervention either. Realistically, what could the BBC do about two people choosing to dance together in their own time?
 
There hasn't been an out gay winner of Strictly, however I wouldn't exactly class most of the gay contestants they've had as winner material. Colin Jackson (not even out at the time) and John Whaite are the only ones I can think of. There's a long list of obvious filler LGBT contestants who hadn't a chance in hell because they were poor at dancing.

Not much of a plot twist 😅.

Wasn't there some speculation of someone before the new series from it looking like someone had likely taken some of his sexy bathroom photos. But maybe there's a lot of people not tried Parmigiana and needing the aubergine.

They said they were going to carry on dancing and doing all the styles and had even hired somewhere and did train/ filmed some dances. I don't think Strictly were too happy as it went against the competition and them being voted out and obviously Amy was still an employee so her not respecting the vote while the show was still on wasn't seen as a good look. Other speculation on Gi actually wanted Tom to do the school run. And more on the throuple that needed Sara Davies to deflect but got caught up in a medical emergency that luckily she had spare trousers for... while Aljaz looked after her kids. Seriously the more you write about that series the more WTF it really was.

And Joe only allegedly hooked up with Craig after the final. Allegedly.
 
Only just catching up with last week's show. What was Nigel's non-costume all about? I reckon he had something else he was meant to wear that he either ripped under the armpits or spilt his coffee all over.

The voting is going pretty much with the worst performer each week, more than it has for years. We're due a shock soon. It's about now that the knives tend to come out for the ringers.

I can't remember if it was on the results show or ITT, but apparently they chose a boring outfit on purpose to make it look more realistic as an actual couple having an argument 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Fillyjonk Bobby said that in dress rehearsals when they were in hold the shoulders of the jacket were rising up to around his ears so they got rid of it because it made his frame look unusual. A lot of his outfits have been quite plain - I'm convinced they don't have the budget/can't be bothered to sort out proper outfits for his height and shape!
