He definitely isn't. I confess I rarely watch him but he definitely isn't better than them. I don't rate him at all. But it's a bit like the Emperors New Clothes or something. I think it was Motsi last week on ITT who was praising him and she and Janette were all aww bless, isn't he wonderful. And the panel last Friday, likewise. It's almost like they are brainwashed into saying it. Are we to believe that the judges don't notice his posture, with his bum stuck out, for starters. 🥴

I won't be impressed if he knocks out a better competitor. I'm not even going to mention the word f-n-l in relation to him. No way!

That is a shame

Sometimes my brain has a blue screen of death moment when I remember that Ariadne's blog cursed us with the knowledge that this fic exists.

If they all get to the semi final, it’s 2 dance week and they generally do the higher scoring dance for the dance off. I think Layton could have one dance, at least, that would score higher than Bobby.
(although the timing and theme of Bobby’s CC is crucial, I think).

OMFG. I remember looking at the Strictly tab on AO3 once and being so shocked by the number of Anton fanfics that I could go no further.

Originally I thought a couples choice dedicated to his mum would win it for Bobby, but the more time goes on i’m not so sure. If he was a strong contender then maybe, but like others have said he hasn’t scored much higher than 30 and is yet to have a stand out dance. I do think a dance dedicated to Jade would get him votes for that week, but overall I don’t think it will make much of a contribution to him winning. He went from favourite to win to third in the space of a week, and I feel like if he doesn’t have a real stand out dance soon then he has no chance.

lmao, I've just searched Ao3 and Wattpad and there doesn't seem to be a single Nigel Harman RPF fic at all! 😂

There's more of Gemma and someone she worked on Emmerdale with!

Funny the kind of random weirdass pairings that crop up while there's zilch for something that seems to make more sense.

Edit: I don't know what to do with the knowledge that there's 21 Shirley/Original Female Character fics...

Considering Bobby apparently can't cope with sentences, I doubt he'll be able to cope with 2 dances. I think that's what's going to do him in. Honestly, I think once the producers get his dance to Jade out of the way they won't really care when he gets voted out. That dance will happen in the next few weeks I'd say.

Annabel’s dance was heartfelt and beautiful, and her husband only died six months ago.
Bobby has said himself that he barely remembers his mum, as he was so young when he lost her. I think he is much more likely to dedicate a CC to his dad and/or brother.

He's very immature both emotionally and mentally imo. Even if he wasn't though, he was 6 I think when Jade died, how much does he actually remember her or even know about her. I don't mean to sound like a witch but it's the truth. My cousin was 4 when my uncle died and she wouldn't have a lot of memories of him, most of what she knows about him is from other people because she was just too young. His CC is always going to be different from Annabel's because she had built a life and a family with her husband but Bobby unfortuantely just didn't have the chance to build memories like that with Jade.
