He's 50?! Well that's quite a departure for me, I'm pleased to finally fancy someone older than me (currently nurturing an infatuation with Nikita who's 10 years younger than me and half Nigel's age ).

I wasn't remotely fussed by Nigel when he was in EastEnders, I was too busy fancying boybanders, but I've caught a few episodes of Casualty recently and his brooding looks and half smiles reeled me in!

My husband is baffled by both these crushes and looked at me like I was insane when he saw some training footage of Layton and Nikita (his exact words: "sorry, which one of these do you fancy?!!" with an incredulous look ). I've pointed him in the direction of Jowita to take the focus off me
