The outfits were mostly quite horrendous too. Everyone other than Jowita, Luba and Graz looked like they'd been chucked into a lost and found bin and told they had 30 seconds to throw on whatever they could grab. Nikita and Vito still mostly managed to pull off their looks though.

I was a bit baffled by the lyrics change as well... I imagine anyone who would've been deeply offended by 'crucify' instead of 'criticise' has probably filed a complaint over Nikita's (sadly hideous, and too long, but somehow still sexy) skirt anyway, so I don't know why they bothered 😂

At least the guest singer dance was a bit better, but still nothing to write home about. Jowita's little horns were very cute. And Neil was also there. I was genuinely so shocked by Rick Astley having a new song. Like I don't know if I thought he was dead, but I definitely thought he was just not a thing anymore. 😂

Surely you remember this fever dream from 2021? Undoubtedly one of the worst group dances in Strictly history, not just at Halloween. 😄 I've got no idea why no-one at any point (from concept to choreography to costumes) didn't pipe up 'Errr guys, this is looking a bit 💩'.



To give it it's due, it probably caused a fair few nightmares that year. I should probably include a trigger warning for Neil as Pinocchio being twirled around by Kai as Voldermort. 🤡💀

I imagine she's under some kind of contractual agreement not to slag off the show, at least till it ends. She also probably knows that she'd get attacked by his Beryl army online. She seems to be a big Inspirational Quote person, so it could be totally unrelated.
Obv I'd love her to spill the beans on FR, but would the show have him knocking around still if she'd raised an issue? (for those keeping count, it looks like the only pro to comment on Gio's bog spray launch so far is Gorka. Not an overwhelming show of support for his big launch..

I fully get that of course but that kind of 'pm me hun' posting annoys me, at the best of times.
I have no strong feelings about either of them tbh.

Karen was tuned out almost completely this year.
Then when she was on ITT, after being eliminated she was full of the joys of life. It was strange.

I know she had personal stuff going on but I found that strange.

And we need that when there are people who are anxious or nervous about their dancing (Nigel, Zara, Adam, maybe Annabel) or zonked out (Bobby).

Yea she’s battering over the head with nothing. She quit, he’s standing there with a face like a slapped sense on a Saturday night as usual. I don’t see how something so bad could have happened between them and the bbc are still allowing him to be there. I’m no Gio fan fyi.

I almost hope he DID do something because I feel like Amanda and her partner fuelling the fires of speculation and tabloids running hit pieces on an innocent person would almost be worse, somehow.

Yeh, Layton can dance but watching him dance is mostly just like watching the pros. Personally speaking, I love seeing how the celebs improve (or not!) and that’s the best part for me. If someone is so good from the beginning that there’s no room for improvement, then I tend to find that quite boring. It’s just a personal thing and everyone is different.

Nooo, I actually kinda love that one, it's so tit it's hilarious. And I feel like they had to have been intentionally going for a campy 'so bad it's good' vibe. (If someone actually thought it was actually good, I hope they got fired 😂)

Every time I watch it I find some new hilarious thing I hadn't noticed before. This time it's Kai and Gorka merrily jigging around with jazz hands flailing at 2:34, and something about VoldeKai's expression just not changing at all when Luba spins him around at the start. 😂

Today's (and last week's Fosse knockoff) was just so tit it was boring, and seems like it was supposed to be taken seriously. If it weren't for Nikita somehow achieving the minor miracle of managing to still look hot despite the lame choreography and being dressed for taking the bins out, I wouldn't even rewatch.

I could never get tired of rewatching every batshit insane second of Darth Vader pirouetting, Hannibal Lecter twerking, Hermione playing the bongos and Nadiya running around in a completely out of place short sparkly disco-y dress and Saruman beard combo 😂 😂 😂
