Yeah my first thought is a Jiving bat really !!
My second thought is Harman in head to toe black leather ...... role on Saturday night
 
If Nigel was with some of the other female pros, I’d be worried about how wrong a Batman jive could go but Katya’s choreography has me intrigued to see what she comes up with. I know everything went wrong with Seann later that evening but his Matrix Paso is one I still remember.

I could actually cry for her - I mean, she's probably not getting the votes whatever they give her, but there's no needs to rub it in really is there. And the last time they made Gorka do a high school-themed jive, that did not go well either

Even though it's yet another Grease VW, I am looking forward to see Layton dressed up as Rizzo

Yes. I want Layton in a black pencil shirt and purple polo combo 😀 (And Nikita as Kenickie)
Agree, even just a traditional ‘thanks for coming’ nice waltz would probably have done the trick but a jive is just harsh.

I can see Twinkle-toes Harman jiving in his Batman costume with his little bat ears and grinning face. Katya as Catwoman, obviously.

Would not be so high in expectation had he been with any other partner.


We may see some of their training tonight on ITT.

Yeah, as well as she is doing with ballroom. I think you can still see in how she dances that she is a hell of an age and her movements don't always feel free and natural, some of it looks a bit iffy with age and wear and tear.

Latin would absolutely show up that she probably hasn't got the hip action etc enough, even with her ability to get her leg up like she can.
 
Yeah I think Angela S will be as good at Charleston as jive and will really come to the fore. Slightly worried for Ellie (not worried worried) as I think it’s hard to shine in VW and the song seems uninspiring, plus they’ve just done a cutesy ballroom. Plus Layton and N will kill with their routine (to a great song).

To be fair, she has done one of each … and it’s only the same as Ellie getting the VW after a foxtrot. Really, it’s worse for her this way … they can’t hide a dodgy Latin behind acres of theming.

It stands out so much that she is getting the dances that suit her.

When the producers want rid, they deliver the Salsa or even worse samba, that bounce action seems unfathomable to some contestants.

Doubt they will ever want Ange to go but at some point she will have to have a jive, at quarter tempo speed in comparison to everyone else. 😁

Anyone think that she paws over Kai a bit too much? :oops:
