I don’t know anyone in Scotland that even likes Lulu. Anyone I know thinks she’s a twit. Plus I don’t think she’s been in Scotland for over 50’years.

That was one night when DS came into its own … the thought of all those devastated Lulu fans watching fireworks unable to get a phone signal was truly heart rending. 💔 While Brendan had a whale of a time paso-ing as a vampire to Highway to Hell and Lulu may also have been marginally present.

Watched live at the weekend, but am just rewatching with my 5yr old who loves dancing.
She had many words of wisdom
On Motsi- ‘we use a costume like that for Mary on her donkey when we did the nativity’

On Kai & Kaye ‘oh that poor man he’s going to be out first’

On Anton ‘he’s nice. He smiles & says lots of words but they don’t really make any sense’

On Ritchie ‘he looks like I do when you let me have too many sweets’

We’ve only watched half- I’m looking forward to her critique of the next half as I think she’s pretty spot on 😂

ETA - she’s just watched Tony. ‘Seriously? I think this old man & the old other lady should just go home now they’re dreadful’

He was very light on his feet in the twirly skippy bits, though.

My Old Man’s a Dustman - really?
Poor Tony.
when you get a Charleston in week 2 you know though, don’t you.

I hope Dianne uses the Natalie Lowe Memorial Door and suitcase ❤

I didn't watch Strictly back then but since starting to watch, I read about various dances and look them up.
I love that one.

I just watched It Takes Two and Carlos came across very well. I can see why he was picked to have a partner in his first year where others weren't: he's clearly had a bit of media training and knows how to banter back and forth with the host and his partner in a fairly natural manner (compare to poor Cameron last year who could barely spot what camera was filming him, or Graz in his first year, who was just lost)

Molly in double-denim low-rise jeans with applique flowers on though: the early-Noughties Britney Spears look has come back to haunt us for our sins😬. She seems very sweet and cheerful and a quick learner though, which is good.

Omg how funny! Mouth of babes and all that! Please keep his comments coming 🙂👍

One of the benched pros - joined last year but not had a celeb yet:
I thought Cameron was a rubbish strictly pro spikey dancer, he could only do break dance and flips in the air. He lacked charisma, of course that can take life experience to create but he just not my cup of tea

Robbie Williams is he still a thing?
Only in his and Jason Gilchrist's head

I don't really think we've seen enough from him to know that, especially if all he was choreographed to do was break dance and flips in the air.

I don't think he came across amazingly well so you could be right but he didn't have an awful lot of chances to prove himself.

I think he was glad to leave. 😁
The judges never let up mentioning his injuries, and it became patronising in the end, imo.
I think for any of the contestants that have any kind of disability (Will, JJ, etc) it must get frustrating to hear the same type of critique every week. Always framed around their limitations/ adaptions, even though they live in their bodies every day, so it’s not new or different for them. The only new element is learning to dance - like all the other contestants! It must start to grate on them after a few weeks.
