He's been doing small presenting slots on Gardeners World recently, he seems so much happier wombling around nature than he did being dragged around a dance floor in sparkly kilt.

On that Gardeners World topic, I know darling Monty Don would never do Strictly, but surely Carol Klein would like to. She certainly has the energy and endless enthusiasm for it, despite being an older lady, and the themeing possibilities are endless! Carol would adore being dressed up like a jolly sunflower!

I think Nikita has to sacrifice his own so that hers can be correct. But I am interested to see how they make it work with a waltz at the weekend.

Mention of ‘the Scottish vote’ gives me hilarious flashbacks to that one loon on DS who insisted for years that Lulu only got voted out because the whole of Scotland had gone to a fireworks display that night and didn’t vote.

Not because she was a bit crap and clearly hated every minute spent in the proximity of Brendan. It was the fireworks what done for her.

That was one night when DS came into its own … the thought of all those devastated Lulu fans watching fireworks unable to get a phone signal was truly heart rending. 💔 While Brendan had a whale of a time paso-ing as a vampire to Highway to Hell and Lulu may also have been marginally present.
