Yay! Strictly day!

Just remembered all the little things about each show, like the judges' awkward shimmy at the beginning and the fella who wears the hat in the band. Also can't wait to see what horrible ill-fitting outfit Winkleman is wearing.

Particularly since Tyler is probably her most talented partner to date.

where have people got that Tyler is talented at ballroom dancing? Everything I have seen of him he looks to be a very awkward mover

I was wondering about this too - Tyler is a good looking guy but I can't see any evidence in clips of him dancing that he's any good. Is it because he's sporty?

I think I read somewhere people were saying he had some hip-hop? (I think) background? I dunno, a quick google search doesn't confirm or deny, but he's not a very big name, so it might just be hard to find.

He is a DJ, you'd kind of think that probably would translate into some dance ability (though of course, perhaps not in ballroom)

We wont know until we see him dance but I don't see any indication yet he is a ringer. I dont get any Karim/Danny mac vibes from him so whos to say hes her best ever contestant? Even if he is ability wise whos to say she actually got a ringer for the first time??

I honestly think that dance was partly responsible for the success for Strictly: series 1 was ok but nothing special (had it not been for Christopher Parker’s ‘Batman’ routine and the Natasha and Brendan showmance I don’t think anybody would really remember anything about it), and whilst series 2 was more engaging in general, Jill’s jive was the first real ‘WOW!!!!!’ moment of the show, and I think that played a huge part in raising the popularity of SCD.

Molly & Richie are the two who annoy me at the moment. I just think Molly seemed a bit OTT and saccharine. Then again, that can easily change as the series gets going. Have a feeling Richie will be my new Tom though.

Molly’s personality and since she is young and short makes me wonder why they didn’t promote Cameron for her and what Carlos’ personality is like. I think he’s a bit older whereas Molly comes across younger than her age.
