I kinda like him, but he does annoy me sometimes. He seems a bit of an airhead. And I didn't like him using a surrogate either. Plenty of unwanted babies already around mate, you didn't need to buy one.

Also, can't help but get creepy vibes from that marriage. Hope I'm wrong, maybe they are a perfectly happy and healthy couple, but the age difference personally makes me a bit uncomfortable.

There could, but I feel they’d be more likely to have a f/f pairing alongside the m/m pairing if they’re having two same-sex couples. If there are 2 m/m couples this year, that’s 3 x m/m versus 1x f/f in the last three series, which doesn’t do much for gender parity.
 
Yeah. Also I guess possible that another gay male star signs up and is happy to be paired with a woman.

I laughed: over on DS someone had put Andrew Garfield on the 'possibles' list for this year (because he said he'd be up for it one day). Then someone fulminating about Richie instead of a Hollywood star! It's the same people who think Tom Holland might do it as he likes to dance (and then they unveil a former member of 5ive)

Ooh. Kaye Adams has just been announced!

I suspect they may have a ringery type lined up for a female same sex pairings, perhaps to balance it out a bit after John was so good and Nicola... wasn't

Although saying that, no one actually springs to mind. Apart from maybe Chelcee Grimes - but she's done quite a few reality shows recently so maybe not

Aside from the already mentioned comments regarding his stance on trans athletes and his rent a womb baby. I think he could be a really cocky and stroppy type when getting criticism from the judges. He gives me vibes of having a real nasty streak in him. I don’t think he’s a particularly humble person either. It would turn into the Tom Daley show like the Olympics did. His sodding knitting ended up overshadowing some of our other divers.

She's pleasant enough. Trained journalist and got her start on Scottish news, so more professional, more inclined to think first, talk later, ratter than just open her mouth and let her belly rumble like that Stacey Solomon

She does a fair bit for a charity called Home Start here in Glasgow, a sort of volunteering group that helps struggling/vulnerable families. I think it's UK wide, but their programme has helped a fair few families in my area.

Prepare yourselves for a video with sweet wee Glaswegian bairns in a church hall, trying to dance (and watch the poor professional dancer try desperately to understand the unfettered Glaswegian accent in the wild :LOL: )
