I mean, I was hoping after flagging that post they'd read it, ban the poster and the worst offenders before zapping the whole thread but I'll take them getting a wee slap on the wrist!

Unfortunately those posters never seem to get banned; just always slaps on the wrists and posts taken down. Thats why I would love the thread to be taken down entirely as its completely gone off-kilter.

First time poster so be gentle - what's the general vibe in this chat? Fans of Strictly past, present and future or just a forum to pass the time with general Strictly observations?

I wouldn't call myself a fan but took a mild interest in the series last year - liked most of the couples, glad the winners were Gio and his ego (oh & Rose)... Looking forward to seeing how they top it this year & how much more diverse they end up going

A bit of everything tbh. As you can probably tell by the recent posts there is not much to discuss at the moment But by the time the new series starts we should have plenty to talk about - new pros, new celebs and hopefully we have a new Tom Fletcher that we can laugh at every week

We've received a message and taken the bait and that's what they wanted huh... yet they're the one with the mod warning and deleted posts. Too funny.

So much for not having spent a single second in this thread... I mean, they must have to know I quoted their deranged post.

I'm glad I saved it now it's been deleted, I nearly didn't bother, thinking 'eh, that's one's so nuts, someone else'll get it.' Way too funny to be lost forever.

Brad from the Vamps would be my pick for a boybander and then a woman from a more nostalgic group. Perhaps a Sugababe or an S Club? Apparently Tina Barrett wants to do it, she'd fill the nostalgic pop ringer role that the likes of Faye & Louise had in past and would fit well with Kai IMO. After all, her fellow S Club singer Rachel Stevens was great on Strictly.

Eventually think another JLS should do it and hopefully make it to the final to avenge Aston's early exit.

It all got a bit weird after Tom and Amy were eliminated, and it looked like Amy had moved in with the Fletchers. One night her Crohn's flared up and Tom carried her to the ambulance in his crocs, while Sara Davies was also there, with a spare pair of trousers. And we were all like wtf? (I'm still like wtf typing it out now )
