This line cracked me the duck up. "I’m sure if Gio or Rose wanted that removed they would’ve done by now especially as she is Gio’s PR." Guess that poster's blissfully unaware of the terrible last few weeks Misha Collins has been having. 😂 😂 😂

For anyone lucky enough to have no familiarity with the Supernatural fandom (even the moderately crazy ones make most KJ shippers look like shining paragons of mental stability) the actor that plays half of the most popular slash pairing seemed to come out as bisexual at a convention. It was phrased like it might have just been an offhand joke, so people held off celebrations to see if he'd retract it. Three days later, multiple news sites have reported he came out, one of his colleagues has congratulated him on twitter, and someone who works for his company even makes a tweet that confirms it. For once, the poor fans aren't even being insane, anyone would be certain it had to be true, because how the duck could anyone let a mistake like that spiral for so long? Especially someone with over a decade's experience with how batshit insane their fandom is? Then the tweets disappear, and a few hours later the poor sap is awkwardly admitting he misspoke. He waited 3 days. 2 days after like a dozen news sites had reported it. He let multiple people who knew him tweet that it was true. Then he came out as straight. Possibly the most hysterically funny event I have ever witnessed in any fandom. 😂 😂 😂

In short, PR teams can be completely, bafflingly, hilariously incompetent.
 
I think Charlotte PR lady is doing a bit of trolling/stirring and will soon receive a strongly-worded letter from Lady Lav.

I suppose the only issue keeping your relationship very private is that your partner is easily erased by some. He’s presumably fine with it all though, although I wonder if a little relieved it’s now very much the end of their strictly stuff.

I agree, and I think that is why their relationship works so well. She is not into him in that way. I have now learned from DS that in fact Gio following busty models on insta is in fact a smokescreen for his relationship with Rose. Those who did not realise that Gio was capable of such Machiavellian planning raise their hands.

Re: Misha Collins - that was crazy. Surely he was doing that on purpose to queer bait?? he knows how insane the fans are, second only to the Marvel fandom, I'd say.
 
So it seems anton has officially stepped down as a pro but will remain on the judging panel.
He is one of the better judges in my opinion giving a mixture of praise and constructive criticism if and where its needed. I'm glad he isn't gone completely just found a better suited role instead 🙂

By my reckoning that makes either giovanni or Neil the next longest standing male pro.

Honestly, yeah, 100%. I was afraid I'd sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist if I mentioned that I totally don't buy his 'oops, I misspoke' BS, but yeah, I think he was queerbaiting on purpose too. The fact that he had the limited edition bi pride merch ready to sell immediately, and that he had plenty of time to clear things up the next day at the convention - obviously fans must have congratulated him, so he could hardly pretend he somehow wasn't aware of how the comment had been received. And the comment itself. When you look at it in its entirety, it's really hard to see how he could have meant anything other than exactly what he said. He's the one who it brought up, and he seemed to double down and confirm it with the next sentence, by saying he only asked the introvert/extrovert question so he could segue into asking who was bisexual. I think he planned to just make an ambiguous little joke that would get the fans all excited, get them to buy more merch, but then it travelled outside the little fandom bubble and blew up in his face.

Honestly baffled as to how that ended up happening. It wasn't even just LGBT+ news, but mainstream entertainment news as well. My mind just boggles at how his people allowed those articles to go out, and stay up for so long, if that wasn't part of the plan. He must have the shittiest management team on the planet. Or else he was insane enough to think this was a good publicity stunt or something.

Honestly, I almost have to admire his balls at taking it back, I'd be afraid of actually getting murdered if I was him. 😂 But mostly I'm pissed off and disgusted as a bi woman that he profited off his queer fans by manipulating them. Anyway, he's got what he deserves out of it. Lost a fair chunk of fans and driven some of the craziest ones even crazier. Some conspiracy nuts are even more convinced that he and Jensen are having an affair now. 😂 :devilish:

As for craziest fans, I haven't seen too much craziness from the Marvel fandom, but maybe I've just been lucky to have missed most of it. I think Sherlock is probably the worst I've ever seen. Some of them are still waiting for the 'real' season 4. 😂

A small section of the Outlander fandom gives them a run for their money too. Some people think the lead actors are secretly married with 3 children. And their proof of this is the actress' breasts looking saggy in one scene (they did, but because of CG to make her look older after the show had a 20 year time-skip between seasons) and a blurry, side-on photo of a woman with hair the same colour as her at an event, which was supposedly her hiding her pregnancy in a big coat while a body double went and got photographed on the red carpet or something. Honestly, I was just relieved to see shippers of a straight ship be so bonkers for once! 😂 Though I'm almost too scared to see if I can find that group of loons again and see what they have to say about the actual baby she just had with her actual husband.

I don't know how celebs sleep at night honestly, my anxiety-ridden ass would have the fear of stalkers permanently at the back of my mind.

Somebody said that if he hadn't been paired with AJ, he would have been "forgettable" and that the only reason he has fans on Instagram is because of AJ.

Are they for flipping real?! Kai is an excellent dancer who already had a fanbase and a brilliant track record from another dance show.

Why are they so obsessed with AJ? To dismiss Kai like this is beyond ridiculous.

The way these people try and downplay Kai’s success is so bizarre. I saw someone try to imply that he only got the strictly job because he lived with Gio, nothing to do with the fact he’s a world champion dancer who appeared on multiple finals on DWTS then? Chances are whoever he was partnered with last series everyone would have loved him regardless.

I know it sounds rude but the way they act like AJ is the Oprah Winfrey of the UK is hilarious, when in reality all she has hosted recently is a couple of red carpets and tv shows that most people have never heard of. Kai is set to be a part of one of the most popular UK tv shows for years to come, I think I can take a guess at who will be the more successful of the two 🤔
 
I honestly don’t understand how these weirdos are so obsessed with AJ. Most people didn’t even know who she was before strictly and have since forgotten about her! She has hardly hit prime time tv after her stint.
They need to get a life and move on.

I personally really like Kai and think he was a good signing for strictly. He is a great dancer and seems like a genuine person. Oh and it helps that he has a nice arse!

I agree. Kai is a good dancer and quite funny too. Didn't he already win the Irish SCD? Plus he's effectively the Kevin Clifton replacement for those who like a British dancer. He was always going to do well on his first series. AJ is pretty personable too and very glamorous so I hope she does well but it's hardly a given at her age, given the sort of programmes she does.
