I was just gonna mention Oti’s tour last year.

I do think a joint tour was a weird choice for Kai and Nadiya and the concept is cringe. I’m not sure how many more tickets they’ll sell tbh. I read that Nadiya’s mum was either designing or making all of her costumes though which is super cute
 
I can't work out who the K&N tour is aimed it? Do they have huge fan bases (outside of the AJ fanatics ofc) ? If I had to list all the pros Kai wouldn't be high up the list and Nadiya would be even lower...they're nice enough but like others have said pretty boring. I don't really care about seeing 'their grand love story' of a whole year 😂

For people who like romances between dancers. Not to be rude but I think that Kai and Nadiya have overestimated how much people care about their relationship. They haven't even been together for long. Anyway, they still have time to sell more tickets so good luck to them.

I feel like even the OG couple that tours- Janette and Aljaz- theme it around the movies/oscars/whatever so they pick up general strictly fans, not just about them. As for non-couples that tour, Anton and Erin have set concept and fan base that’s been established for years and Gorka and Karen’s show seems to be specific in being very dance-focussed and less fluff than other strictly tours.

I think the relationship theme and it being very schmaltzy seeming was an interesting choice.

They don’t have to have a fanbase. A lot of strictly viewers will buy tickets to any tour regardless of which pros are in it. I could never, I would only ever buy tickets for shows that included pros that I liked.
 
I think if Kai had had another contender last year and stayed in longer, then he'd be in a better position to sell tours but going out first (though not his fault) likely put his name down the list of pros that the audience may recognise. I don't think Nadiya ever really had a fanbase, she's always been anonymous. Together I don't think they have enough fans. Maybe if they waited another year or two, it would be different.

People like Katya, Karen, Gorka, Dianne, Johannes & Giovanni are all tenured enough and recognisable enough to do decent with tours but newer or anonymous pros aren't and I feel a bit sorry for them if they are pressured into doing it when they aren't ready. I don't know who thought it was a good idea for Graziano to do his own tour in early 2020 when he'd been benched in 2019 and had a poor first stint with a celeb in 2018.
 
Not sure if you lot have moved past all the Rose/Gio/Jowita and AJ/Kai/Nadiya drama yet cos I havent been on here for a while but I've been reading through a few posts and I can't help thinking that a lot of the disappointment of RoseGio and KJ fans, particularly the shippers, is because of the 'friends for life' narrative the producers seem to push onto the couples in recent years. The reality is the intensity of the friendships pros and celebs form isn't really sustainable outside the Strictly bubble. I can definitely believe that some couples, such as Dan and Nadiya, Ellie and Nikita etc will keep in touch and meet up occasionally, but some people just drift apart after the show ends and that's fine
