Not sure she’s really ‘hanging on the coat tails’- she was asked to read the Ts & Cs, a tiny part of the show, because she won last year. She’s barely had anything else to do with strictly all series.

I agree with you on the CC point though, they are a part of the show now and everyone has the right to choose them, particularly if they are their favourite.

also thought fleur’s cc was actually improved by the no backing dancers. just being able to focus on her and vito made it much more dynamic.

but on the flip side, i thought helen’s cc struggled from the lack of backing dancers.

fleur honestly had one of the best finals i’ve seen. but she was never going to win, and i think she and vito knew it and were able to just go out and have a great time. i love their friendship.

I would be surprised if he didn't - he has had a great partnership with Molly and some memorable dances. He didn't get the same level of attention as Jowita and Vito of the newbies, but I felt like his personality was really coming out towards the end on ITT and socials (the Adele fandom, raving about the profiteroles). I don't think he would get another ringer though for a while.
 
Couldn't really see what you guys saw in Vito throughout this series, but his sheer joy at Hamza and Jowita winning has done it for me. I get that he would have known that him and Fleur weren't in the running, unlike Gorka, but as a pro dancer I feel like it's your job to uplift all of the contestants.

The older pros clearly rooting for Gorka and Helen feels cliquey and not in the spirit of the show at all.

Also finding the backlash on Twitter about 'the best dancer' not winning ironic when they clearly aren't referring to Molly or Fleur, both of whom are miles ahead of Helen. Helen was the story contestant and they don't want to admit it.

Maybe they can now dial back on the one big supportive family line which always came across as toxic positivity to me. Alongside a huge iceberg of chill to help combat the pressure the pros and celebs are under and all the crying from the pros when they are eliminated.
A more professional attitude is needed by all that doesn't include the forced BFF with their Celebs and all the Pros are one big happy family storylines.
 
Sorry to be going over old ground possibly but what’s the deal with Karen and Jayde? They seemed so tight on the show. I haven’t been following these threads until today and haven’t got the time to spend hours going back through them all to see what’s happened!

Hamza was always my winner. Loved him even before strictly as my daughter and I watch him on CBeebies. He was a worthy winner in terms of just how much love he managed to garner from the public, a lot of whom had no idea who he was. I’m happy with the result!
 
I will never understand what these people see that makes Rose so significantly better than anyone else. Hamza and Jowita also have a beautiful connection and I prefer watching him dance.

For heaven's sake, they haven't exactly been slagging Hamza and Jowita off! People use that term all the time. Is every celeb and pro who has ever liked or reposted a fan's 'you're my winners' comment a 'sore loser' who's 'shown their true colours' now? Because that would pretty much be every non-winner who has ever gotten past the halfway point. 😂

That's so weird. I like Dianne but there's no denying Jowita is an amazing dancer and she and Hamza worked really well together this year. Also, that person knows only one couple, and therefore only one pro, can win right?

I like Rose but the DRAMA of this! 'she has RUINED Strictly for me!' She was no Danny Mac!

For any Hamza/Vito shippers (Hamzito?) this is very cute. Get them a wildlife show together!
