When do we think roughly the votes will be opened? It’s on 7.05 to 9.35 so maybe 8.15/8.30-ish?

Yeah I think it must be after dance 2 - vote lines open for half an hour and an appropriate amount of time for them to be counted/adjudicated. Or have they announced musical guest(s)?

I too remember when the person with the lowest amount of votes got turned out early. That would be worse than going out in the semis 😬.
 
Im really looking forward to tonight’s final as there is no outright winner at the mo. As I don’t mind whose wins my voting is gonna be based on whose dances I like best tonight. I love all them, which is a first.

I think the Rio shippers are here to stay until it is confirmed either way but it keeps Rose and Gio relevant so I think they will keep it up as long as they can, milk it amongst their shippers, especially as after tonight they are no longer the champions.
 
I’m hoping there’ll be a massive last minute push for Fleur & Vito because if Hamza doesn’t win I’d rather they did. I personally think Helen’s the weakest dancer of the final four & I don’t want her to win just because she’s a nice lady who’s had a hard year. And just because it’s Gorka’s 3rd final doesn’t mean he’s due a win either.

I’m pretty sure the voting opens after the first round of dances?
 
I don’t understand the “I hope Pro X wins this year, they deserve it!”, “It’s time Pro Y won, he’s been in two finals”, “But Pro Z has been on Strictly for five years now!” It’s not about the pro and distributing wins amongst them fairly/based on time served. I like Helen but I won’t switch my vote from Hamza just so Gorka can get the win he ‘deserves’ because he’s been on the show for ages.

I feel exactly the same. Gorka works hard and he's a fantastic pro, but the contest isn't about him and he no more deserves a win than Jowita, Vito or Carlos who are all brand new to the show.

Those are the exact reasons why Helen will win. Some of the pros are making it clear who they are backing.

I agree, obviously it’s nice to see a pro win after missing out so many times but this is not what I base my voting on. Seeing all the other pros all rooting for Gorka on instagram kinda makes me want Hamza to win even more 🤣
