God, I do love a set of good bum feathers on a dance costume. If I had my way it would be mandatory in all the Latin dances to wear bum feathers. Even the boys. Especially the boys!

Also, Karen is always very canny and classy on social media, none of this "I'll not post anything about my partner" nonsense that Gio did, she just posted some polite, generic things that no one could take any offense to and sailed on serenely, well done her, that's how to play the game.

I know we all love to slag Will off on here but deep down I don’t think he’s a bad guy. Yes he’s mardy and has a face like a smacked arse when he doesn’t get his own way but I think he’s probably a good guy.

same, i don’t think he’s a bad guy either. he just seemed intense and very tightly wound. someone here suggested it may have been better to do the show next year rather than so soon after a loss that obviously still majorly affects him, and i think that was fair. he seemed to be carrying a lot on his shoulders, which sadly came out in a negative ways sometimes. i think he maybe would have gotten more joy from it if he’d delayed (maybe).

the rest of the cast have only spoken about him positively, which i suppose speaks volumes.
 
Aw that was nice of Will.

Agree that maybe the margin between Hamza and Helen isn't so huge now. Danny was the bookies' fave going into the final in 201 (sob!) but Ore and Gene Kelly's widow overtook him. OTOH I think Hamza's big band showdance to Let's Face the Music and Dance is exactly the kind of thing that will appeal to even floating voters.

Anyone else get the impression there’s a huge shift in momentum for Helen and Gorka? Everywhere I see it’s people saying vote for them and they want them to win? Even under the pros posts so many of the other pros have posted under Gorka’s saying “come on” and “let’s do this” etc and not so much under the others? I suppose that’s maybe because it’s his 3rd final.

The polls I've seen have them both so close, with just a couple of percent in it. I think possibly Hamza still has the edge, but it's going to be the closest final in ages. I think all those hidden voters who only vote in the final are going to matter a lot

Jeez, could you maybe quickly ferment some fruit into alcohol or potatoes into vodka in the next three hours? Or unearth that sticky bottle of Crème de menthe, out of date Baileys or lethal ouzo (the bottles that lurk at the back of every kitchen cupboard in the land, that nobody likes and that nobody can remember buying, I suspect they breed in there)

Alternatively, unwrap the box of cherry liquers you bought Great-Aunt Mabel for Christmas and just drink the liquid out of them, yum-yum.
