You could say virtually the same for Hamza, though.
I'm not sure being partnered with a new pro really makes that much difference … new pros have won before and make it through to the final on a fairly regular basis.

I don’t know … Molly is a lovely Girl, comes across as extremely likeable and is a neat dancer but there just doesn’t seem to be any oomph for want of a better word.
(other than the working through the males of the cast at a rate of one a week, obviously)
 
I like how Fleur has made sure there are zero showmance rumours and takes the piss out of Vito all the time. She is delightfully immune to him.
(I have to say if Vito did his motivational dance-off speech to me - looking me in the eyes and saying huskily ‘Let’s do this… again’ - I would
probably find myself unable to put one foot in front of another)

IMO Gorka is trying to be the ‘Alijaz’ of this season, I miss his humour and jokes with the audience and judges and to me it looks like Gorka is now trying (and failing) to fill this gap!!

agreed! i think the difference is that aljaz always did it with a touch of ✨✨✨ (i can’t think how else to explain it 🤣) and sweetness that just got the audience and the judges on his side.

the big thing with gorka for me is that he seems to single out craig for this little hip wiggle/bum shake stuff and, idk, that kinda gives me the ick. it isn’t really fair to craig and i think you can tell he isn’t into what it’s implying by how he doesn’t play along.

i don’t disagree that he absolutely went full head over heels over the line in his last few seasons 🤣 but he was cringe with everyone! it’s gorka’s vibe towards craig that makes me ick 🤦🏼‍♀️

agree with @GiftedNotFree in that aljaz was always ott on itt. he is absolutely 🔥 but if we were ever together in a private location with no others i might have to turn the volume down.

Molly has been acting since she was young, and she also did Britain’s got talent. If anyone has the mentality to deal with it I think she does. She’s young but she’s a professional and she’s not a child.

I’m not saying that she should be in the dance off so often, it’s not nice, but she’s a cbbc star, which is niche for the strictly audience , and I think her dances were a bit twee to start off.

Given the name recognition of some of her co stars, and that does help you get far in this, she has done so well to get to the semi final.
 
Someone on DS posted the link to Molly's BGT audition. I had never seen it or any of her performances before. Although she has got a great voice the combo of the inappropriate song and sleazy David Walliams smirking at her only affirms my belief that child stardom is A Bad Thing. But yes, she will have seen plenty in the industry already. And at least she has Carlos Nikita Tyler Vito to comfort her now..
