Speaking of drag queens, do you think Strictly might use the Christmas special to trial the idea and the sixth contestant could be a drag queen? They've used Kitty Scott Claus a lot lately and her name is very appropriate!



Of course it should be Clive Myrie and that's what I'm still hoping for.

I wonder who will be helped/hindered by the extra dancers in the routines on the smaller Elstree floor? I feel like Kym might benefit, while Fleur's QS might work better without as it's all about moving round the floor. (I've resigned myself to a DO between these two).

Watched ITT from both Wed and Thursday last night.

I don't dislike Will, but I have to say, if he was chocolate, he would eat himself.
Enjoyed the various training clips over the two nights, I always think they all look really good.

I'm not overly interested in the pro challenge but I do like seeing the various pros chatting for the few minutes, before and after it. Graz is just so adorable imo.

I went and made a cuppa during the Vicky Gill part.
Honestly some of the costumes this year have been rotten.

Anyway, tonight's the night!

I like Cabaret but it's not easy to pull off the tone of the show (and why would it be, it's a complex musical about sexuality, self expression and the rise of the Nazis that's at times grotesque and disturbing)

Joe and Katya completely got it, but otherwise they settle for "Oh yes, Cabaret is about sex people who wear black and bowler hats!"

Always a pleasure to watch this dance again. Katya is a choreography genius

Obviously I would never speculate about the sex lives of strangers, but I am sure that party featured grinding between [sticks hand into bowl and pulls out random names] Kym, Will and Arduino (despite no photographic evidence he was there, he's always in the mix).

Today I also learned that there are Gen Z girls obsessed with Helen and Ellie's friendship/whatever. I feel so old!!

THIS is my all time favourite dance, a samba, such a very difficult dance for all the celebs.

Always say that Katya is a genius choreographer, this was her most shining moments of the numerous she has had on the show. Not sure the music is traditional samba music but it worked perfectly.
