When he wore the pearl necklace on ITT my gaydar sounded a ten-bell alarm. Though TBF I think we ignore that lots of them might be bi - I imagine that they’re all such gorgeous perfect specimens (bar Neil) that they’re all At It all the time!

Vito has had ex-girlfriends but I guess could be bi. Definitely not out. I thought for ages Gio was gay at the start - but again it's the old 'gay or European' conundrum? Carlos is a blank slate as regards his private life.

He was a sweet lad on Strictly, and a lovely dancer when he and Nancy finally managed to channel his enthusiasm and energy into the right channels and moods that suited the dances (that Argentine Tango of his was superb).
Just a shame he kind of got lost in the mix a wee bit. Plus, last year had some very strong dancers, personalities and stories happening with Rose, John and AJ. I think he'd have done better this year maybe.

The first series I watched was 15. I immediately assumed Aljaz and AJ were gay, and was pretty shocked to find out they weren't. I'm the opposite with Gio, I thought he was straight, but then the weird Maura thing happened and I've been very skeptical ever since.
Idk, I guess my gaydar's not very reliable. I didn't get a gay vibe from Carlos at all to begin with, and was surprised when a poster here (possibly you, lol?) said they did, then facepalmed when I noticed the pearl necklace.
Also didn't get one from Vito, but now several people have mentioned they have I'm wondering now...Anyway, it's certainly possible some are bi and closeted. Can't remember what the statistic is, but the majority of bi men don't come out, because the majority of straight women won't date them. And a lot of gay people are dickheads about it too. Go to Datalounge/L Chat for gossip, always leave shaking my head in disgust at the zillionth poster saying 'a bisexual dumped me once, and that's how I know they're all lying, cheating, abusive sociopaths' or the everpresent and mind-bogglingly illogical 'I met one who I only saw date one gender while I knew them, which proves they're all in-denial liars who are really straight/really gay.'
In my imagination it's all one big backstage orgy!

Think AJ Pritchard was maybe one who was bi, always got a slight vibe from him.
Don't think Gio is anything other than straight - he's obsessed with women and he'd have at least tried to show more enthusiasm for Richie if he was anywhere on the LGBT spectrum - he was only interested in a same-sex partner if they were a contender IMO.
