Yes, I thought Monday, Wednesday and Friday are live and Tuesday and Thursday are filmed Monday and Wednesday? Have I been robbed?

Such a bizarre choice for a Charleston (IMO). On a Merail note I saw Kula Shaker at Glastonbury 1997. Not great #nepotism

That said, I didn’t expect to be wowed by Rhys last year but I loved his AT.

You're right about Rhys - he was SO good in his AT and that power came out of nowhere. I wish we'd seen more of that side of him.

I think Hamza has buckets of natural chemistry with Jowita so if he doesn't overthink it, he will be just fine.

If thats the case then I really don’t think she should be let have two weeks bye this far along. I’ve grown to like her but letting her skip to the semi final isn’t fair

She definitely wouldn't get another week - the Strictly policy for illness/injury has always been one week only so if she's not well enough next week to train/compete she will have to withdraw. That would produce a 3-person final though...

Yeah, I wondered if that's what was being hinted at. But as I say, I could have misheard.

Next week's show is also on a Friday (I think?) So that's one less day to recover and produce a negative test result. Hopefully she is well enough though.

I prefer the idea of a three person final in theory, but if I were that celeb who had a shot at that fourth place and then it gets cut so late in the day, I'd feel a bit aggrieved. Not only is there a much bigger chance you miss out on being a 'Strictly finalist' , but also a better pay - i think the rumour was you get more the longer you stay in, with a bonus for reaching the final (and then more again for the winner)

But I know they all go into it knowing the rules and possibilities of injury/illness etc

Yeah, given we are fairly sure that Will, Hamza, and Helen are finalists, the only real element of jeopardy was who might make the final. Whichever of Fleur and Molly survives this week might feel a bit aggrieved (or even Ellie!)

Thinking about it, I reckon Will has the most to lose with a 3 person final - nothing's certain, but at this point it looks like he's fallen behind Helen and Hamza in the polls a bit. If he were to end up in a semi final dance off against Molly or Fleur then I don't fancy his chances

Yeah of course it would be a dance-off for a 3-person rather than 4-person final. As you say, not a given the judges would save him over Fleur/Molly but probably over Ellie).

I was watching and I don’t remember him saying anything like that? All I heard him say was that she’s missing this weekend and she’s gutted about it.
 
About people saying Hamza is a one trick pony with the lifts- I agree to an extent but I think lifts for celebrity men are harder than people give them credit for. Our focus tends to be drawn to the woman but so many celeb men tend to look stiff and awkward lifting their partner and it detracts from the flow of the dance, but you never see that with Hamza
 
Oh guys I really hope Helen’s samba is much better than her other Latin dances have been or I think she could maybe be in trouble? It’s so tight if she’s at the lower end of the leaderboard she could be in the dance off? I know she’s got lots of votes but Will and Ellie aren’t as good dancers and have never been in the dance off. If she doesn’t get it right with Kim away she could end up in the dance off with Molly and that could be the end of that?! 😩
