Sean Walsh’s ex ought to be mortified. She is still going on years later tweeting abuse links, I’d be embarrassed if I looked how she did and got cheated on with a hot Russian dancer too but that’s life

*Soft Hamza voice* and here we see the Pick Me, venturing out of her native habitat of the Fiat 500 dealership to try to find a mate. However this time, her mating ritual - an elaborate display of putting down other females in the pack known as ‘negging’ does not work. She will return to her traditional mating ground, the plains of Wetherspoons, and try again

😂 😂 Brilliant!
in fairness though I have to hold my hands up and confess that I still refer to my grown offspring as “my kids” 😳 😂
But do they cry when they see you t
A friend of mine who is ‘interested’ in Hamza (she lives in Ardnamurchan where his parents live, but moved in when grown up so doesn’t know them, or Hamza) claims he’s married and a wedding ring can very obviously be seen on his showreel, online. Maybe he’s just what he seems, a humble, private guy.
I dont think its a secret that he's married! It was talked about on this thread a few weeks ago!

Am I missing something about Hamza’s couple’s choice?? It was completely out of sync. I love him as much as the next person and it could’ve been amazing but if it was anyone else out of sync like that there would be uproar and definitely no 10s
I agree and I thought Jowita out danced him a lot which was probably more to do with her trying so hard because it’s not a style she’s used to, I actually thought Craig’s score of an 8 was more than fair but it’s more to do with the fact that he got to do a style that completely made sense for him as a couple’s choice, for the first time on Strictly too, then you look at what Molly was given!

fully agree on everything, especially will. i don’t know if i am just deeply cynical at this point and i know the emotion was real but it also seemed deeply rehearsed with all his looks up after the dance, the way he had to throw in the mention of his kids etc…. kym was upset too but it didn’t come across as anywhere near as calculated as he did.

i watched hamza again this morning and they’re hugely out of sync at points. i did think that jowita (as fabulous as she is) went a little fast whereas he was staying on the groove of it, but understandable if it’s a new dance for her!

helen’s comments after the dance (“you want me to walk over there, on my own?”) completely summed up her mood during the dance for me 🤣 she looked scared, though the lifts were great.
BiB by that point he was veering dangerously into David Brent territory, and that’s a grim place to be

No to be fair you ladies are right, that was rude and unnecessary of me regarding sean Walsh ex appearance. She is a pretty lady but katya just has the wow factor. I just can’t bare that she is still going on about this all these years later, it screams attention seeking to me. Absolutely it wasn’t her fault, however, the constant reference to it is becoming tiring.

I'm embarrassed and mortified to live in a country where an accused abuser and a man complicit in the deaths of thousands of people are on a national TV redemption trip and gullible people are like 'oh but he seems nice!'. The bar is on the floor for mediocre heterosexual men.

I’m confused. He recently did an interview where he talks about being single…
He is definitely single, or so he says. There was a post a few years ago with a girl where he mentions his 'wifey' but presumably she was a gf. Now if he is secretly married and pretending to be single for votes, that is interesting!

So? As far as I’m concerned, she can tweet “abuse links” every day for the rest of her life as it might help people who are in destructive relationships.

Far be it for me to moderate but he might be more popular on the I’m A Celeb thread so you could maybe post that comment there?

Boy George also went to prison for handcuffing a man to a radiator and beating him with a metal chain so I’d say the bar is in hell for men in general.

Oh did he? I thought someone on here said she was disappointed because he was married!

Katya has terrible taste in men. His ex is a working actress, and has been in several TV things since they split. She has written a book about his gaslighting of her and his general abusive behaviour.

I seen a recent interview where she said she struggled with the actual physical closeness of the dancing, and trusting Gorka with it! Which, given her circumstances is completely understandable and you can see she's much less comfortable with the 'sexy' dances...
I find myself liking Helen far more than I thought I would.
In a sea of weekly woobie faced misery memoirs she is reassuringly stoic and down to earth.

(am I the only one who remembers Kym posing on the front page of either Hello or OK, possibly in a wedding dress with an urn of ashes a good few years ago now?)

Here's the piece where he very clearly talks about being unattached: Guardian Interview

And the relevant quote:
Yassin is single: is it hard to meet someone, living so remotely? “In the village, yes,” he says, though he does a lot of travelling for work. “But my job doesn’t really allow for a relationship. How can you sustain a relationship, like: ‘I’m sending you a text message from a satellite phone, because I’m in the Arctic for two months.’ It’s more of a job kind of problem, rather than a place, though the place definitely adds to it.”

I would also point out that the Instagram post where he talks about a "wifey" might be slightly misinterpreted" Wifie/wifey" in the Scots vernacular can sometimes mean any woman at all (generally a slightly older one, but not always), it's very likely he's picked up a good few Scottish prases living in the village

Molly - God, all that worrying I did for her throughout the week and she pulls that out! 😂 Should have been top, or equal top of the leaderboard, can't believe Will got higher than her. If she's in the dance-off, I riot.

Tyler - As I expected, just not very good. I think he knew too, as (I'm pretty sure) the morning of the show was the first time he's begged for votes on his Instagram. Shame, a Paso to that music should have been epic. I don't think the audience will save him from the dance off again. I hope he doesn't go before Tony, but I worry that he's not got many dances that will suit him left.

Fleur - I guess I just don't know what I'm looking at when it comes to the Samba, because this the umpteenth time I've thought one was tit and then the judges say it was amazing. Maybe I was just put off by them being dressed as cheap Christmas decorations?! 😂 I had consigned myself to her going home after I saw the dance, but then saw the scores and was baffled, but pleased they should be safe. That said, worried it won't help them in the long run, if a lot of people feel like me that they were overscored, and see it as the producers desperately trying to rig things in her favour. 😬

Helen - Thought she was lucky to score as high as she did. It just wasn't good. Liked one of the lifts (and Gorka's arse) but other than that, meh. I'm torn because I'd like Gorka to win, but I'm still bored to death of Helen. I've only really liked her Foxtrot. Can hardly even remember some of her other dances.

Hamza - He seemed to start out a little hesitant, or nervous or something, which is shame, as was the timing mistake near the end. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd say it was all planned so it'll be more exciting when he does it perfectly in the final, but it's hard to imagine TBTB would really go that far with meddling. I felt like Craig's 8 was a little harsh, but 3 10s did seem a touch excessive with a clear mistake. Probably should have been all 9s, or three 9s and one 10? I saw someone's comment on DS that I think is accurate - that Hamza was intentionally dancing in a less technical, more traditional/emotional way, whereas Jowita was doing it a bit more by numbers, which made them look mismatched.

Tony - Katya is a genius with her choreography again and I hate it this time, I want him gone! 😂 Bless him, it was a valiant effort, but he's wearing out his welcome.

Will - It was pretty good, but definitely should have been a few points lower. Also, it ticks me off that they've wasted one of the best songs on him. Now it'll be at least a few years before anyone else can use it again. :cautious:

Kym - Even with the mistake I thought it was quite good and underscored, and loved Graz's choreography this week (though thought there was just a tad too much faffing.) Still not over Shirley giving Dan an extra point for making a (much bigger) mistake, where was Kym's extra point for recovering well after a mistake, huh Shirley, where? Overall, I wish it had been better though. Didn't like it as much as her Viennese Waltz, partly because I hate the song and the dress.

Ellie - Once again, I wish that she had given it just a teensy bit more energy, and it was a tad messy in places but I liked it, more or less. Some of the choreography was interesting and creative and I think she did quite well with the acting. That jacket bit could have easily gone wrong. I think she relaxed and danced better after it, so it's a shame it didn't come a bit sooner. I don't really think she deserves to go quite yet, I'm hoping she's done just enough to save herself.

At least Boy George paid for his crime. Hancock is still an MP earning lots of money and swanning off to the jungle to tearfully beg forgiveness for 'falling in love', not for his responsibility in killing people..
Tony Adams was in prison for drink driving when he was active addiction, but I think people accept that that is in his past?

Anyway, to get back on topic! It was good to see Gio getting into it cheering on Vito and Fleur - I am ready for him to be rehabilitated next year, maybe by getting a duffer and really putting in the work with her and being more humble.

I also don't understand the samba, but everything I've seen online has been complaining that they should have had 40, so hopefully it's ok!

Just thinking re the gap left by the dance off not taking place, I wonder if the producers were half prepared for it and maybe added in a pro dance or something. Tony did say on ITT that he was wrecked. He has had a good run, and gave it all he had, imo. I will miss him and Katya, they brought the entertainment week in, week out.
