I’d love to know if Dave’s using donations to pay for Twitter Blue and whether he’ll pay for it when Strictly isn’t on. Does anyone pay attention to him when it isn’t?

So Kym’s rumba wasn’t pure filth because of the ice queen of it all, but the best ones I remember are all at least romantic. Otherwise it is just slow walking and posing and yes dance off for Molly - which is a real shame as Carlos is a rumba specialist.
Hopefully he'll make the dance brilliant.

I'd happily get rid of the rumba for the celebs and save it for professional dances only.

"We've kind of taken this one from an angle, it doesn't have to be about a relationship in that regard, it's about your relationship with your Mum, your Dad, your parent, your sibling, whoever means a lot to you, a best friend, so we're trying to take it from that angle."

So Molly is doing a rumba.. about her parents??
Ugh, I already had a horrible feeling she'd go this week. That feeling just got a lot stronger... :(

Guess I've gotta hope Tony's luck with the audience has run out and he'll be the other one in the dance off.

What a twit. He’s so utterly desperate to ‘be someone significant’, isn’t he?

How very dare you! Dave has ‘watertight sources’.

It’s not his fault that they never manage to convey the spoiler to him before Juliet has posted, leaving him shuffling around the DS spoiler thread in his dressing gown and slippers, muttering ‘yeah, what she said’.
Hey, he’s been the subject of a an article in the Daily Mail complete with sad face and house price. He’s arrived.

Now all he needs to do is swap his Ovaltine for a coffee and try and stay up after 11 o’clock so he isn’t trumped by someone who actually bothers

As much as it saddens me to say, I think Molly could be out this week. Really hope she pulls something amazing out of the bag. Molly over Mardy for me.

I think it'll be Molly v Fleur = the final confrontation! With Molly being saved. I think even if there is no heat it will be technically excellent.

A minor rant - the dance 'experts' (as in the proper ballroom dancers who post) over on DS can be quite annoying. They've been down on Vito from the start, but always praising Carlos (which is fine). But saying eg 'Vito clearly isn't teaching Fleur technique, and should be axed' (despite several videos showing him working on technique) but 'Molly's hold wasn't great last week but of course we don't expect an absolute beginner to get that right and I'm sure Carlos is working hard on it..' #endofrant

The "experts" do my head in, people take everything they say as gospel when they just use their rhetoric to put down who they don't like. I saw a particularly odd poster defending Tyler say with such conviction "I consulted one of the ballroom experts last night" and you just think, wow. You're probably talking to a truck driver who throws a bit of terminology around.

Yeah, just because someone does some weekend dancing doesn't make them a guru. They've been slagging off Graziano for a long time for his 'terrible' ballroom (again, having said he should be axed). I think they just have their favourites, like anyone else. One of them kept insisting that Molly studying modern dance for years was of zero benefit to her on Strictly and you're just like 'really??'

I used to work with an ex competitive dancer and if we ever wanted to wind him up we just mentioned Strictly, he so hated the programme and would rant about it downgrading pure dancing with silly themes and even the use of celebrities. It was hilarious, basically he’d totally missed that it was an entertainment programme and not the World Champs

I just find their claims to be completely non-biased a bit ridiculous - everyone has their favourites and are biased to a certain degree, even if they don't realise it themselves. It's human nature

Also the fact that they're so dismissive of entertaining choreography - it's a TV show! It's supposed to entertain!

The only thing for me is that Vito doesn’t seem to want Fleur to pull back a bit. I’m sure, the same as all the pro’s, he’s teaching her enough to get by in a 90 second routine but Fleur, to me, is a typical live performer who goes a bit giddy given the audience and cameras. I can see it must be fabulous for him to have someone who hears the intro music and doesn’t go off to have a wibble in the corner, but she does go at it a bit like a bull in a china shop. If they could find a way to harness it so that what she has been taught doesn’t fly out her head the minute the music starts and It gets messy, I think that would really help them.

absolutely same.

i know very little about actual dancing but the rumba has always looked like a level of technique and intricacy that very few celebs are able to get right because of how difficult it is. i know we’ve had a few great ones and it’s gorgeous when done well but i would happily get rid of it too - it so often just turns into walking and pointing.

This week, Kym and Graziano have been living in my head rent-free. I’m not technically minded and know nothing about dance but I was so blown away on Saturday. It made me feel like I was interrupting something by watching- it’s the first time I really felt something watching a dance. I love Hamza dearly but I think I’m gonna be chucking some votes Kym’s way now as well.

Also, sorry asking another newbie question- why does everyone hate Neil? Does everyone actually hate Neil or is it a joke?

He has been talking for the last couple of weeks about getting her to have more control, so hopefully that has sunk in. And in this week's footage he's really emphasising how she needs to combine control with samba style.. but yeah, this could be another mad, entertaining mess (which would defo see her out, as audiences don't like her Latin anyway..)

i think the thing they forget is that, especially these days, the pros really aren’t teaching the celebs to dance. In the main, they are teaching them enough to fake a 90 second routine. Of course, some might pick up more technique than others (possibly having a background in learning other routines and a knowledge of other dance styles might help there) but I’d bet if you put any of the celebs with another non-pro dancer, out some music on and said … right, now cha-cha they would look terrified and ask where the banquet table/flower shop/big gold cannon was.

I've never been a fan he always had his irritating face in every possible camera shot! And wasn't a fan of him as a pro teacher.
I definitely don't hate him, and I endeared to him last week when he asked Katya if she was OK , and boosted her in the clauditorium

My feelings for him are jokey negativity rather than real malicious hate
