A work colleague of mine just said "Hamza's good but he's got no personality..." How do I categorically convince her she's talking shite without coming across unhinged??

as a rather quiet and introverted person myself, i hate when people say this 🤣

and in answer to your question: you call in the tattle reserves. i don’t mind coming across as unhinged. give me her number, i just want to talk 🫡

I think Hamza needs his own series. Sort of a cross between Springwatch, Ballykissangel and Doc Martin but ten times better.
If some BBC Scotland exec is not already putting a fictionalised version of this together for the Autumn 2023 schedule I'll eat my hat.

Like a sort of reverse Death In Paradise.

Instead of "wet British person visits warm country and is alarmed by the wildlife whilst solving problems"...it's "warm Afro-Carribean person visits wet Britain and is charmed by the wildlife whilst solving problems"

aw i wish - would watch every episode!

(i’ll play his flirty blonde neighbour who hates the outdoors but is prepared to make an exception 😉)

What a gem of a man Matt was. He went too soon , just as he was starting to come out of his shell a bit more
Yes, Matt grew on me. Week 2 I'd have been happy to see him go first, but by the time he went I was sad to see him go. He was improving, it's a shame he struggled with confidence. Didn't help that the judges were too hard on him. When you consider that the frame was pretty much an unfixable problem, his Quickstep was actually quite good. It wasn't simple choreography and he didn't make any mistakes.

I console myself with the thought that Matt is one of the contestants that do themselves more good than harm by being on the show.

Thanks for the advice, knew I could rely on fellow tattlers to keep it real... My personal favourite is the report to HR comment - I shouldn't have to put up with hate speech from a 'monster'...

Gorgeous Hamza can do no wrong and his personality is too precious to be shamed in that way - if only everyone could be more Hamza
