If he gets through this week on successful dance merit, then hopefully it's ballroom next.

Production team when selecting celebs (regardless of their industry) for their entertainment criteria.

Very good dancer
Disabled one
Gay one
Old one
Young one
Joke one
Another good dancer

And aside from the joke one they hope the others might be able to become good dancers or at least have a journey.

I'm the same, she is stunningly beautiful but with every makeup and hair change, she looks so different. Guess we could just look for the shortest one! I think we're probably just not used to her yet.

I think she's up there with the best female pros already - fantastic choreography, great teaching and a very natural lovely partnership that showcases her partner.

I love her and she's earned her place to return next year.😁 she's up there with Katya.
Some of the pros have beautiful skin (Jowita, Nancy, Katya) I'm mesmerised on ITT

Most people's feet are kinda in proportion to their height/ build / whatever and he seemed to manage his feet okay up to now - in general, I mean not just while dancing 😁

Saw Tony and Katya on ITT, both in great spirits 😁. Tony did say a few times that he is tired, I half wondered is he psyching himself for elimination.

I only remember them starting to talk about it last Saturday, which is funnily enough the week that their dance didn't go so well.

To be fair, it’s probably the first time it’s really been that much of an issue … bar an American Smooth in week one, so lots of out of hold, it’s the first ‘proper’ ballroom dance they’ve done. Even the Dr Who tango has a different hold. Everything else has been the boppy side-by-side stuff.

I think it's why they need to evenly space the dances and start with the basics, then by this stage in the competition everybody has a good grounding in the *retrieves tiny haunted shoe* fundamentals.

That's true and the dance order isn't down to them, that lies at the hands of the producers. The difference for me is that others haven't used excuses. I don't remember Matt mentioning anything about his condition when his hold was being critiqued and I don't remember James bringing up the height difference when he was being critiqued either, the judges did. Either way it looks like the size of Tyler's feet is now going to be their story for this week anyway.

Hamza mentioned his weight in Claud's area after his jive saying he was too big for it after he got probably the most critiques he's got, might not have been the best thing to say with Jayde being there but he obviously wasn't meaning any harm to anyone saying that.

I can understand sometimes the frustrations that contestants/pros have; as long as they aren't constantly moaning then I don't see it being a big deal mentioning one thing of what might have hindered a performance.

Did he keep bringing it up after that though because Dianne and Tyler have. Dianne posted on insta about it just this morning so it just seems like that's going to be their story now.

Dianne and Tyler haven't kept bringing up the height issue; only after the VW. The feet thing I'm seeing as they're having a laugh with as he keeps standing on diannes feet during training; it was even in the bloopers. They also cant help what gets asked to them on ITT.

They're trying a bit too hard to prove it and make it A Thing, which is why it's coming off a bit desperate.

Anyway, I hope Shirley produces a giant shoe to demonstrate where he went wrong this week!
