Fleur didn’t make mistakes in the original dance off performance, vito fell and the music/dance was stopped. If you read past the clickbait you would know this.
 
It’s a shame with Ellie T because she has all the makings of a winner, a popular and good pro, a good story of non pro to dancer and is a likeable person that people want to get behind. It’s a shame she can’t get past the fear of thinking she looks stupid and just letting go, she might find she enjoys dancing a lot more and can take to it. You’re on a dancing show that’s on series 20, everyone around you is dancing, hundreds of celebs before you have danced, why would you look stupid?

Katya looked absolutely shattered at the end.

It must be hard to choreograph a cheerful, memorable routine and patiently train her sweet but very ungainly partner in it for eight/nine hours every day during the week, probably getting bonked on the head or kicked in the shin a fair few times every hour.

Eventually, maybe, he can do the dance on the Saturday with around 80% accuracy and she has talked him into having a bit of confidence in himself, over the course of several hours, probably feeling a bit like a drill sergeant crossed with a nanny. And she has hope that this time the dance will go smoothly.

And then she goes on the show and the poor chap completely forgets which foot is which, messes up the lifts and the judges basically honk laughter in her face.

Repeat every Saturday for seven weeks on the trot now (except last week). No wonder she looks a little done in.

Maybe next week she should stop the mad lifts, and just do a nice sedate waltz, very calm, very minimalist, to soothe her own frayed nerves and give Tony a break from the perpetual terror of tossing her about like he's making a pancake.
 
I think Katya has done a fantastic job with Tony (and the likes of Ed in the past) but I think it would be cruel to give her another duffer next year because I think she's so invested in making them good that it visibly stresses her out sometimes. Let her get someone who can actually dance for a change.

It must be really frustrating to work really hard with your pro , trying to teach them the steps, rules of the dance , performance etc, even though they aren’t a natural dancer , then constantly tell everyone whose listening that your partner is working really hard to learn because they don’t want to be the novelty act , then come performance night, watch them screw up then dismiss it as oh I got so caught up in the fun of it all I forgot to actually dance .
Tony can’t have it both ways - either he’s the novelty act there for laughs and entertainment ( his own and the audiences ) , or he wants to show he can dance ; albeit to the best of his ability)

I have nothing against Tony but I think it will be a shame if he’s kept in purely because he’s Tony over someone who either danced better or has improved across their journey.

It's confusing early on he seemed really gutted to be the joke act now he appears to be saying he's just here for a bit of a laugh. In that case if I was Katya (if they get though) next week I would cut training hours by half and give him a basic silly dance. Anton level of training a duffer.

My dream of Dermot O'Leary doing it seems quite far away. Barring that, someone like Tom Daley, oft-mooted? I know he can be a wee bit grating but I am just imagining him throwing himself into Katya's crazy routines as he also has no fear!

Of course my ultimate ringer would be Jamie Bell...
