[Boring Monday]

Dance off will be Tony vs Will or Ellie T. I think Tony will go tonight. It’s not going to be fair if much better dancers and he stays.

I found Shirley irritating tonight. How long has she been on the show now? It’s DIANE not Diana .

That is so odd.
she’s been calling her Dianne perfectly well was 6 years.

honestly, for me, that was the most boring episode in years

only ellie t and hamza are really grabbing me as contestants to root for

literally everyone else (except tony, but people will vote for him for fun until they get bored) is competent at dancing but mid tier at personality

honestly, tonight was like watching 12 saffron barkers

I guess it doesnt really matter how Tony dances because he will likely have a sizeable vote behind him anyway so my guess would be Fleur and Ellie T in the dance off , assuming that Fleur talking about her Dad gets those voters who hate a sob story turning against her .

Shirley not getting Dianne’s name right is really grating on me , it’s just disrespectful. I get annoyed enough when posters here routinely misspell the celebs name even though I know it’s likely just typos

really do not understand Shirley's strange use of 'Diana' - she has known Dianne for several years now, there is no excuse - it does seem to have been more than an accidental slip of the tongue ..

I think she's got a lovely personality too! Being a young woman on Strictly seems like hard work, you're either slotted into 'saccharine/boring' or 'overly confident/annoying'. I think a young lad with a similar disposition to Molly would be universally liked on the show. (Not saying the poster who finds Molly boring is one of those people).

it goes back to the old argument but yes, a male version of molly would be doing amazingly. i think she’s very likeable tbh - she’s trying hard and has a lovely partnership with carlos.

i would have given her some votes too. i thought her scores were incredibly harsh.

plus, i know she got 9s and a 10 but kym was marked unfairly too imo. that dance was a showstopper.

This is probably the 1st year in about 10 that I’m kinda like meh I can watch it on catch up, like last week at a Halloween party and tonight at a bonfire and I wasn’t fussed - I’ve just watched it on catch up - previous years I would have been saying NO I NEED HOME FOR STRICTLY!! I’m just not loving it this year…

that 3 was absolutely ridiculous imo. she wasn’t great but come on craig. so harsh.

for me - there was something not quite right about Ellie T's dance - it did seem awkward, lacked flow and did not live up to the VT expectation. Perhaps Craig expected much more and was acutely disappointed.

calling diane the wrong name, for the second time this series, was completely out of order imo. how long has she been there with her?! the voiceover and tess both say her name quite clearly before the dance too! it’s so rude.
