I like to think of him at home right now in his onesie.James looked shattered with tiredness. I think he was glad to go and he left graciously.
No bile or bitterness.
Well done to him, he did his best.

I think he’ll be a huge hit and I like that in addition to his talent, he doesn’t mind dressing up and laughing at himself! I think Pontiac hit the nail on the head about being brand new and teaching on a quite intensive level while still trying to find his way himself.I was thinking about that too. Would a different pro have worked better with her?
I really like Vito, I must add and they seem to get on really well.

(He actually seems very nice amd I think with a different pro could have done better)
Also - Joe was humble (a bit like Hamza) and he had Katya as a partner, which helped too. Her routines that season were sensational.Someone was saying earlier that it was strange that Joe McFadden won his series.
For me, it was simple. Firstly he's Scottish and we like to get behind our country folk. And secondly, he was up against 3 very strong and very different women - they probably cancelled out each other. I think Debbie might have won if Gemma hadn't made the final. And the same the other way.
Alexandra was a fabulous dancer who deserved to win but suffered from the ringer tag (which Joe managed to avoid despite being in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang)
Fleur is a poor imitation of Alexandra - she's defo not as good a dancer.
Last week's Halloween pro dance was one of my fave things they've ever doneNobody seems to like the themed weeks then! Is it just that there are too many or is it because the standards have dropped? (Or both)
For me, I LOVE a themed week if done properly ie relevant, un-tenuous concepts/music/styling etc and all done to wow us and put on a spectacle which is a step up from a 'normal' week.
I've always looked forward to Halloween week more than any other week but this year's felt half-arsed and underwhelming.
Did they not have the budget/resource to do it justice or did they just not care or run out of ideas? Some poor couples really were done up like big fat kippers!
I noticed the judges were careful to avoid saying the better performance in the dance-off, because they needed to overlook Fleur's mistake. While I agreed it was James' time to go, his mistakes in the dance-off weren't as glaring as Fleur's. Tonight proved that the judges don't make decisions based on the dance-off alone - they already had made their minds up that James would be going and they had to justify it without referring to the dance-off.
Wow. Voting for the pro even when the choreography was utter pish. Ellie S should have went. That dance was an abomination.

Back when the judges actually gave critique. Now it’s a farce.I like Anton but feel like he is talking FAR too much on the panel. They all are. Remember the days when they only spoke to 3 judges as they were right on time. The Saturday night shows are so long nowadays .
I vote for Gorka every week/year. I couldn’t care less who he’s partnered with or what their dance is like. I vote because I want to see him.Wow. Voting for the pro even when the choreography was utter pish. Ellie S should have went. That dance was an abomination.
Dave Arch came in a bit early there
