In real life i see plenty of people of all sizes and shapes and ages dance, moving to music because they want to.

This is a good point. There have been large dancers on the show in the past (off the top of my head: Alison Hammond, Lisa Riley, Mark Benton) but their size was never their entire narrative.

Some bigger people are lighter on their feet as well, Jayde is v stompy and low energy… hope she will improve that
 
Will looks like tit but is gonna dance. As others have said, it is annoying that he is 'powering through' and infecting others instead of taking the bye he is entitled to:

There’s a wedge of them that are pretty samey dancewise and media trained to the hilt interview wise … the personality and fun seems to be coming from the lower end of the lead board which Always causes ruction.

I really really really wanted to like Jayde.

I've read the stories about her disco dancing with her sister so felt for her.

And being a bigger person myself it was good that the show wasn't full of young slim people.

But jings, she is a terrible dancer!!! The judges are going really soft on her.

I've got a recollection of one of the judges telling Allison Hammond to wear a heeled shoe to help lift her feet and positioning. And Alison brought a lot of personality to her dances. Jayde's bringing nothing.

But she kind of sums up this year's show - terrible scoring for not very good dancing.

Not really the point. They would’ve probably only known what they were truly working with once they got one on one in the studio for the first show which was only six weeks. Many celebs looks awful in the first group but actually end up alright not to mention you never know how the audience will vote.

They still have other rehearsals and show connected commitments. They would still have to be ok standby if one of the competing pros was unable to dance. They’ll still probably be signed up for a tour or two what happens then ? Or next season if they’re both given contenders? He has to be looked after by somebody that isn’t his owner for long periods which isn’t fair on him.

If they actually cared and had a ounce of common sense they would’ve waited especially when they’re such a new couple. It only works for the other dog owning pros because they have partners who are just nowhere near as busy or have a regular job like Jordan.
 
I wonder if Jayde making her body a big part of her journey has attracted more haters, I get why she did it she wants people to feel good about themselves even if society doesn’t. As everyone has said there have been bigger people on the show but it seems the negativity about her body is a lot because she’s made it a focal point.
 
Also, on the Kai and Nadiya getting a dog thing, I've just seen a story on DM where her mum is gone back to Ukraine to try and get Nadiya's grandmother out so it's not her that's going to be looking after the dog. They both have to be at the studio today so who's looking after the dog?

She was my absolute favourite from the start (I seriously started to worry that I sounded like I was being paid to do her PR!) but I haven’t yet seen anything from her that has made me sit up and take notice. I think I pinned an awful lot of hope on the dance ability and performance value she showed in that comedy clip that was on here, but I just haven’t seen that ‘spark’.
 
I haven’t read the article in that awful shitrag but come on Kaye, it’s not just the flirting is it? It’s the obvious and nasty difference between the men she likes (who are almost always younger than her) and either the younger female contestants or the males who are partnered with pros she doesn’t like.

A bit of harmless flirting is one thing but this ain’t it Shirl.
