I know it's been said that they generally do have a bit more of a problem booking younger, male celebs so maybe that came into it

It's always struck me as a bit bizarre that they only really ever get one 20-something male per season and only two under 25s in the past 10 seasons (HRVY & Jonnie) so it wouldn't shock me if that was true but I can't see why getting younger men is a lot difficult than younger women. Especially if looking for a career boost. Other versions don't seem to struggle.

It's his brothers wedding and he's best man, doesn't really have a choice. I have to say I don't know how I'd feel about one of my siblings missing a big part of a special day like that.
I’m sure they would have let Tyler do Strictly next year - why sign up when you know you’re running a marathon and have a family wedding?

Yeah he’s a great dancer (and does a lot of the choreo on the show now). This is his very impressive party piece from the tour (a sincere ‘congrats on yer spins!’)

The pro tour was so good! A little bit too much Dianne for me but Kai had quite good banter and Neil was funny too. And the dancing was insane!

Yep, he missed the whole thing, still doesn't talk to his brother because of it. I mean, at least Tyler is still going but it's a flying visit type thing. I don't know, I'd just be disappointed especially as he's best man.
We’re going to get the Training in an Airport Lounge VT aren't we

But still, surely he will struggle to even rehearse for 12 hours that week? I guess they're relying on the fact he's young and fit, and are just keeping their fingers crossed

i think they’re relying on the fact it’s early doors and there are a clutch of others they could legitimately get rid of before him. If Diane was canny, knowing this was coming up, she’d have been slotting in 2 dance training from the start so he has one in the bank, as it were. Which is probably why he’s got the Charleston this week … it’s less technique focused and more performance based … especially if it’s hidden behind a theme … and they have been gifted a song that means they can faff about with props to pad it out.

Even if he does have a dip next week, he can get he ‘you need to take this seriously, young man’ comments, train unhindered the next week and have a ‘breakthrough’ (because everyone will have forgotten about the jive by then).

Way too much Dianne chat on tour, especially considering the other female pros didn't get that much to say (or that's what it felt like anyway). And think she mistakes shouting into the mic with being good at banter

Yes! I loved the section about Katya, Nadiya and Luba’s mums and think more of that kind of thing and less Dianne would have made for a better show.

Oh come on, Vito: Gio is wandering round in double-breasted M&S like a bank manager - now is the moment to establish yourself as King of Suits!

ETA: Tony is now the King of Suits.

Tony looking smart AF in all his lovely pastel suits on It Takes Two, wish they would let the poor bloke wear a nice suit on the show itself instead of dressing him up as a dustman or whatever. Vicky Gills' outfits this week a bit strange too: can't see that frock working for Ellie T in any way for a cha-cha-cha unless they lop most of the skirt off and attach a bunch of frills.

Had to laugh at Hamzas' pigeon toes in the rumba: my old dancing teacher used to make the boys wear their shoes on the wrong feet to cure them of that.

Tyler looking like he was about to collapse of exhaustion in the training video: on this showing either Dianne is going to have to feed him some illegal stimulants or she's going out Week 4 again.

And I just can't take to Jayde, and I don't know why, it's puzzling me, never seen her on anything before, so it's not like I'm bringing preconceived notions to the party. She just...leaves me very cold, both in personality and dancing style.

Janette is too busy trying to get from one link to the next. She has improved since last year but she isn't a natural presenter. I wonder if the pros/celebs are pleased to be on in Rylan's nights or if they don't mind.

I know Fleur loves The Little Mermaid but that song is quite boring IMO for an AS. Meanwhile Will has his AS to Cry to Me from Dirty Dancing which is much better.
