Dianne must be having kittens about this happening in week 4 I'm guessing it will be a waltz for Tyler next week, he needs to do a basic ballroom anyway. Doing the crowd-pleasing dances so early on could come back to bite them in later weeks.

They'll still have to fit in ITT somewhere as well. The upside I suppose is that he probably won't have to go to work since he probably would have already booked that off. He'll still probably only have a full day Monday, half days Tuesday and Thursday and then camera blocking Friday. That's if there's no delayed flights. Add in jet lag and he's going to be wrecked come Saturday.

Wow, a flying visit to Mauritius is very different to a flying visit to Europe. He's going to be absolutely knackered and floored with jet lag, and that's before we factor in flight delays.

I think I saw it on Twitter or insta.

I bet the BBC will pay for Dianne to go with him and there'll be scenes of them practising in Heathrow etc..

There wouldn't really be a point though. He's only there for 9 hours and surely that's going to be spent at the wedding.

I can’t help but think they should have deferred Tyler to next year and maybe given him the odd BBC gig (à la Richie) so he was a little bit more familiar to the audience going in.

Strictly needs to be the top priority for celebs and he’s got too much on his plate.

But every so often there has to be someone who they gleefully grind into the ground: look at the shattered remains of Scott Maslen and Ashley Taylor Dawson that crawled away from the show.

Usually it’s an Eastenders bod for whom they conveniently schedule increased filming for a major storyline to clash directly with Strictly (which they were likely strong-armed into in the first place - I’m pretty sure if you’re a bbc presenter/newsreader or Eastenders actor, ‘no’ is not an option).

I think they run an office sweepstake to see how long it takes for them to ‘break’

I'd agree with this. In a way it's a waste of a good dancer. Imo, he's got too much going on and I don't think he's got a big fanbase behind him, I think Kiss FM might be a smaller radio station then some others, so one bad week and he's more likely to go then someone like Tony.

Even the Fail haven't managed to dig up any scandal on Nikita bar a 'cryptic post' from his ex. The fact they were together since he was 18/19 is probably enough to explain why it ended now.

Ashley TD’s situation forever will annoy me - a crazy busy storyline and a new baby. So much wasted potential. He would have been Ola’s best partner by far if he’d had enough time to rehearse.

Joanne Clifton on ITT is ruining it for me! SO MANY ANALOGIES! Jowita is now supposedly with Arduino (backing dancer/choreographer) though I saw on DS someone saying he is gay and they are just besties. I got a romantic vibe from their posts and endless adoring comments on insta but I guess who knows??!

Was that him who did the pro tour after Cameron got injured? He was really good (even if it’s not him)

Obvs nobody knows what their marriage was like before but it must’ve been bittersweet for Michael (?), Jowita getting a job on Strictly and him not - especially when they’ve recently hired a few new male dancers. Maybe it is just down to the Producer not wanting couples or maybe he just didn’t ‘fit’

Yeah he’s a great dancer (and does a lot of the choreo on the show now). This is his very impressive party piece from the tour (a sincere ‘congrats on yer spins!’)

I know it's been said that they generally do have a bit more of a problem booking younger, male celebs so maybe that came into it

But still, surely he will struggle to even rehearse for 12 hours that week? I guess they're relying on the fact he's young and fit, and are just keeping their fingers crossed
