I think I maybe concentrate on little things you say and possibly read them differently, e.g “I’m perfectly happy he’s with Nadiya as long as everyone is chill” - what does that even mean? People aren’t being “chill” and that’s the problem. People are targeting innocent folk and it’s wrong on so many levels.

I genuinely don’t know why I care so much to keep asking questions, it’s like I can’t stop myself! I love Strictly and I love to hear different opinions so I’m loathe not to check in at all but I feel exhausted trying to work people out.

Sorry - clarifying here - that the 3 people affected ( Kai, Nadiya and AJ) all seem to be friends still and chilled about it, so it’s not a problem .

To answer their question as to why Nadiya always has to post herself wearing the dress: just a wild stab in the dark, but perhaps because she wears it in the show and she's posting about the show?

But seriously, some of their snide comments about Nadiya are horrible. She's literally done nothing wrong whatsoever

Exactly. It's so creepy, the way they're so fixated on it. I hadn't even noticed it was the same dress!

So many of them seem to genuinely think that Nadiya is trying to send some message by wearing it, as if it would even have been her choice! They're both tall! It's nice that they're getting more use out of the dress. That's all there is to it. Not some deliberate slap in the face to KJ shippers, as if Nadiya gives a tit what they think. 😆
 
When you're impressionable and tanked up on celebrity gossip and social media, you can believe and say anything, so I'm not surprised to see the nastiness against Nadiya ramping up on DS. The forums are like a wild scientific experiment for social contagion and confirmation bias. It's even more mortifying when you realise that many of the users are not teenagers.
 
Katya was the best thing since sliced bread at Digital Spy for her first two years and then her reputation on there never recovered after Seann. Different circumstances but nonetheless hope that the same doesn't happen to Nadiya.

I doubt it considering one publicly cheated on her husband while the other kissed another man while they were both single. This isn’t me coming for Katya btw, she is my favourite female pro and I hope she gets a real contender this year. It’s been 4 years since the Seann situation and everyone else has moved on, including Neil, so why can’t viewers?

Side note: I absolutely hate the tabloid phrase ‘leads the stars/celebs’. It’s always used for the most bottom of the barrel celebrities turning up to the opening of an envelope and it makes me picture some kind of celebrity pied piper.
