I don't think so, despite all the shipping, though I wouldn't have been surprised if there was either a fling or heavy flirtation. Just thought it was weird that having seemed v fond of him she has totally stopped interacting in the last couple of months.

Is there a reason that other choreographers come in for Charleston/Showdance and not the pros doing it?

Aside from a few exceptions like Vincent and Flavia dancing AT and Janette the salsa, most of the pros are trained in Ten Dance - the traditional ballroom and latin - rather than things like the charleston.

I would never ever in a million years have thought Dan would be bringing the party to Elstree but there he was dragging everyone into his dressing room for a Dance and some Gin. And this is before the show even started! And then his lobster dance was the highlight of the group dance and one of the few joyful upbeat moments
