Social distancing ending as soon as the show is over 😂😂

(Don't think they should have to at all btw, just don't see the point in keeping it up for the telly then showing the opposite on sm.)

It was just too much, especially as we've had quite a few of them leading up to the final as well

Claudia: Rose, is there anything you want to say to Gio?

10 minutes later: Rose, is there anything else you want to say to Gio?

After the showdance: Rose, yes I know you don't want to cry again but if you could just say something else to Gio...

Imagine if it had been a 4 person final and we would have had at least another 40 minutes of this! I just wanted it interspersed with something a bit silly, just to lighten the mood. Found it all a bit draining by the end

Edit to say, it's not that I didn't find it moving and touching - I absolutely did and I love both Rose and John. But it was just A LOT

They had to fill the gap left by missing 3 dances and the vts that would have gone with them. I’m still gutted for AJ and Kai, as their jive and Charleston would have made such an impact compared to the ones danced last night.
 
I really thought they would have quickly booked another musical act - surely loads of people would love to be on one of the biggest TV nights of the year? Stick Nikita taking his shirt off in front of them and bob's your uncle.

Hmm, I don't think so, though Ugo and Oti did look very close. Let's return to this in a few months!

Isn't it always the ones we don't suspect? in which case Katie and Gorka! (BTW I know people keep saying he hated her but they seem to have a nice relationship, chilled, but friendly). Also can't believe Dan and Nadiya, Sara and Aljaz and Tom and Amy were left off that list!
Maybe it's a sign of a great series that we can imagine nearly everyone succumbing to the curse (Dianne and Robert being the absolute no-go area!)

I don’t remember Rose or John being particularly teary all the way throughout but they must have been physically and emotionally exhausted last night - I bloody was just from watching!

I think they did well in acknowledging they were worthy finalists. I had hoped there would have been less before the results and a bit more after, so Claud could have had a sit down chat with the winner and runner up too

Totally agree with this. It ruined last night's show because there was far too much of the crying.

Even the dances last night (except the pirates) were soppy.

That all needs to cease and its time Neil and Jason Gilkison moved on as well.

The group dances need to feature more Latin moves too.
