I find both of them extremely hot, so I suppose that helped. I love the whole Cyd Charisse vibe and thought it was undermarked,

Ha ha ha - was whilst dancing or.....

Her hips were looking good in the training footage from the rumba. Hoping it’s her latin redemption. Even if not she should smash the quickstep either way.

I’ve honestly never got the hype about them 😂 I wouldn’t be bothered if they went this week.

Yep, looked utter crap. The only pro dance I can remember liking this season was the beautiful ballroom one with Kai and Jojo. Otherwise this year has brought us awful weird pro dances such as Spacebollocks and that complete Halloween shitshow of WTFery.
 
I've watched this show since the beginning and, while it's always been a batshit crazy show, nothing has compared to the madness this year!

the judges' scoring has always been deranged, but it's been something else this year

the relationships between contestants and pros and all their lil codependent tendencies have been bleeping weird

we all pretty much pegged the final 3 from the very first episode, but no one has been outstanding in every show. the leaderboard has been nuts all season

the Halloween one I just spent the whole time trying to work out who each character/pro it was rather than the dancing, Rather liked the one where Kai gets thrown down the temporal wormhole though (you need to read the Ariadne Reviews to get that one!)

It's definitely had some odd vibes this year! I blame lockdown.
 
Is it maybe time for Jason Gilkison to move on? As others have said, the pro dances this year weren't good so maybe time for a fresh pair of eyes and new choreo ideas. Would also help them widen the pool of potential new pros in future, they were a bit reliant on BTF for a chunk of this cast.
 
Just having a think Gosh 2018 was probably the most chaotic year of strictly: Seann and Katya, joe and dianne, joe unknowning doing the white power symbol 😂, Danny making Amy cry, vick and grazziano hating each other, Stacey getting with Kevin whilst her boyfriend was in the audience 💀, Gio getting with Ashley

It was Jason who choregraphed the Johannes and Kai dance, he Choreographs the most beautiful ballrooms. The problem is when he outsources it goes dramatically downhill. I think there needs to be a bit of a shake up within the wider Choreography team ditch the two in house ones, keep Jenny on the Charleston's but find someone else to do the Salsas. Bring some fresh minds to the Choreography team.

This year it seems like they only choreographed and filmed the dances up until week 7 with the benched and eliminated pros bubbling thereafter to do the Pro dances. In theory it should have worked but they dances have been fairly awful to the point I haven't watched any of the recent ones again despite it usually being my favourite park of the show.
