Last night he was Instagram stories and the way he was looking at her was like she is the best thing ever total heart eyes, even after a long day of dancing together all day. Whatever is between them they come across as being on the same page.


So who do we think is going to top the leader board this week?
I am finding it hard to call which just goes to show how well the top 4 dance. I think it will be down to whomever coped the best with having to learn two dances.
Skill wise I can see AJ coping better but I get the impression it takes her a while to commit a dance to memory.
Rose usually starts training on a Sunday because it can take her a bit longer due to communication and timing taking longer.
John I have no idea mostly because he's always really hard on himself.
Rhys has struggled but he's peaking at the right time.

Honestly this is the hardest Semi-final to call in a long time!

I imagine that even if Rhys tops the leader board (possible) he won't stay out of the B2 with only 4 left. So Rhys vs AJ or John.. John's jive may be ropy but hopefully his CC will be great. AJ may produce 2 stronger dances and has a batshit insane fanbase..
(I think Rose may get 40 for either her AT or Waltz. Both will be v strong for her).

I can't see Rhys getting out the bottom two either and if Rose is topping the public vote (it certainly appears like she is) then it's really between AJ and John. I can't even guess who the judges will save between those 3 it's going to come down to the dancing on the night. I often find the semis more exciting than Final night 😆
 
I think I might actually vote on Saturday and do one for Rhys, one for AJ and one for John. I don't think Rose needs them, though I suppose if everybody thinks like that she could be in trouble.

They are both actors - her rather more accomplished so I’m sure it will be super steamy. I think Giovanni could sweep over to a broom 🧹 and look like he’s about to throw down so it’s not a surprise he can manage it with Rose. Actual kissing no - he is in big brother mode and it’s sweet.

Also him going on about how close they need to get is him pandering to their shippers - he’s not stupid, and knows how to get votes. Same as all the I love yous.

Your right, it's a really close semi final!

I think they've all the potential top the leaderboard...
I really hope Rhys manages to contain his energy for the samba and doesn't just go totally ham, and I genuinely have the fear for John's Coldplay jive... I just can't see how it'll work!! (Plus he posted yesterday that he'd only done one full run through 😬)

Eek only 1! Still they have the run throughs today and tomorrow. I just can't imagine what his Jive is going to look like with the tempo of the song and Johns size I can't see it being light or fast. Unless they speed up the song but even then I'm not sure they will.
Slower Jives can work, I can't remember Jays being too fast and it was loved, as long as he nails the kicks and flicks.

Yeah I fear it will be John v Rhys- hope John would be saved. We don't know a huge amount about the size of his public vote I think. Someone on DS said that even last week AJ could have finished above him in the PV and still been in the DO..

That's true! But it just feels like such a weird song choice! 😕 I suppose with doing two dances they need to try and juggle rehearsal time, and I get the feeling they've really focussed on their CC so it's nailed!

God, I have no idea how people work out the scores/PV numbers... It always baffles me! 😂🙈

I think because she was at the bottom with 2 points. And John had 4 points. So AJ could have plausibly come 2nd in the PV (4 pts) and got 6, but John could have come 3rd (3pts) and so finished above her on 7. And if AJ had come 3rd in the PV, she'd have finished on 5 points, but still come below John..
John was also helped by there being a tie at the top of the board..

With only 4 it will be harder, especially if there are ties on the leader board, which is likely! If we imagine Rose is quite likely to be (joint?) top of the Leader Board AND top of the PV, she is safe. Rhys would have to top the leader board (4 pts) and possibly finish above both John and AJ in the PV to escape DO. If he finishes bottom on 4 points, and say John is bottom of the LB with 1 points, then John would have to top the PV to have a hope of avoiding the DO. But ties would change things.. So complex!!!

I think all I want is for everyone to put in a good performance. No slips, no botched lifts. Somebody has to be in the dance off, but I'd rather that everyone acquitted themselves well, and then let the chips fall as they may.

A show with these four should have really been the final
