Actually just reading this now (and not to be all sincere on a Friday morning, but) I think my favourite thing about this series is how so many of the couples have forged genuine friendships. To the point where none of them have been able to let go lol. People trot out "friends for life" every year, but based on Amy moving into the Fletcher Convalescent Home for Needy Dancers, Aljaz becoming a kind of emotional support honorary uncle/nanny at Sara's house, and Nadiya finding her confidence on screen and in general because Dan helped her to feel comfortable revealing aspects of her personality, I feel like this year's lot actually mean it. At least they mean it right now 😭;)

AJ sounds like she's a matchmaker doing an advert for why Kai's marriage material in this article. He's patient and kind and funny and a real family man and he's going to be in your life forever? Tell me more, Auntie.

(And still unclear whether she means "I've met one of my new best friends, here's why he's great", or "I *love* love him)

Still can't believe they did one of the best Argentine Tangos of the series to 'In the Air Tonight'. Dave Arch, the band, and even the singers 🙃 have by and large smashed it this series. On the whole

Well, given the ending of all the other ATs, I'd say there's a strong lean towards yes, they will indeed look like they're about to taste each other's tonsils. Because it's acting!

I can't understand how anybody would think there's romantic chemistry between Rose and Giovanni. Like that almost seems incestuous - they have a strong bro/sis vibe.

Add them to the list of couples who seem to have got a lot out of their partnership, also. They obviously really get on, and he's been able to develop his teaching in new ways to help her get her message across. It's really lovely.

I always think people just love romance - I do too! - that they see it in other bonds, even when there's nothing there. But people can have profound experiences that don't involve romantic feelings and I think that's what people are picking up with Rose and Gio. And they do have chemistry, but not that kind of chemistry.

This is why I think they are worse shippers than AJ and Kai at least they are single. Rose has a boyfriend and Gio seems to doing what he does to every partner.

I don’t think she would be doing it if he wasn’t happy with it. It’s a bit of harmless fun, some people are acting like she’s doing something wrong when all she’s doing is having a laugh ffs 😭
