She's not starting till after SCD but they may have given her time off to go up there and rehearse a bit this week.

There is some mad stuff going round. I get being invested in a couple, but claiming it's a fix/AJ was undermarked is bollocks. They need to get used to the idea AJ is not winning!

I’m a shipper but know Rose is very likely to win! I’d be happy for her and Gio, as he’s waited so long.
 
DS scares me a bit. I don't understand why it always has to be one against the other. You can't say you thought AJ was a bit rubbish without an AJ fan having to criticise Rose, and you can't say you think Rose is sometimes overmarked without a Rose fan criticising AJ. I would be thrilled if either of them won.

danny mac was robbed!!! i'm still angry about it to this day - the best male celeb this show has ever had.

the conspiracy theories people come up with as to why their favourites aren't doing as well, or why certain people keep getting through are the same every year and always make me laugh. ultimately, the "best" dancer rarely wins this show. the majority of the voting public love to see people improving or people who are "likeable" - even better if that person has a journey through the show. yet everyone comes up with these theories about voting lines being blocked or the bbc deliberately making sure that people who aren't doing the tour go out early. it's ridiculous.

I think there can be a small element of truth, editing, song choices etc can all help to push a certain narrative if the producers want to. But I think overall with strictly there is less chance for fixs compared to say I'm a celeb which isn't live and is very heavily edited

I think a bell rings in LadyLavender’s house to alert her if Rose is mildly critiqued on DS, or God, forbid, Gio!
 
I'm not sure I believe anyone is actively watching this show and thinks anyone but Rose is going to win. Never has there been a winner so obvious, even Kelvin Fletcher had to do his first dance before he won it.
At least Rose is a good dancer, has a nice backstory and a lovely personality and Gio will finally get his win, his Appreciation ladies will be thrilled.
She wont be the best dancer on the night but that rarely matters.

Haha I disagree, I'm glad Ore won.

I agree I think its Rose and Gios, unlike other series I don't think this year has a journey contestant that could knock them off the top spot

i thought i'd buried my feelings about danny mac but apparently not - i was so mad when that happened 😭 (then i was almost as angry when maisie didn't win last year, but that's just me)

it absolutely is rose and giovanni's to lose and i'm incredibly happy about that.
 
I wouldn't mind if Rose won but I do think a lot of her dances are boring and I do think the deaf thing has been pushed to the hilt.
AJ, John and Rhys aren't as consistent as her though, and Dan surely hasn't had enough of a journey to win on that basis (I sincerely hope.) I'm still slightly hoping that AJ will edge it but I'm resigned to the fact that it probably won't happen 😅

She’s never been one of the bad ones IMO, at least never been outright aggressive to me. Can’t say the same for a few others, some real angry, confrontational people there.

The scariest one at DS always had to be the Brazilian poster who was obsessed with AJ (Pritchard). Something really off with them.

I don’t go on this other site but I’ve seen some bits on Twitter and it is actually really annoying. I’m sure Rose is the only one who hasn’t yet shed any pity tears. She goes out, tries her best and is a very likeable girl. I don’t think there is a more deserved winner than her this year and that isn’t just because she’s deaf
