I know Dan’s not popular and I’m not sure why he doesn’t annoy me…but I genuinely think he is the only one who has consistently improved to the point that he is noticeably a better dancer than when he started. Yes it’s good to have ringers but isn’t it also good to see people improving - and enjoying it?

He’s gushy and over complimentary but give me that over John, Tom and Rhys (and Amy) pretending they’re delighted with the scores when they’re not. Using John and Johannes as an example - they peaked far too soon and their star is definitely waning imo. But because they got off to a great start, they’re expecting high scores and high praise every week, and it shows. AJ crying isn’t like her and the sceptic in me thinks she’s trying to prevent another DO.

What’s most annoying for me about Rhys is the faces he pulls if his critique and scores aren’t up to his standards - he looks like someone’s drowned his kitten! 10/12 hour days - and no coffee break - and to the untrained eye, he hasn’t improved a great deal imvho.

Rose has improved, of course she has but she was decent from the off.

Now I’ve read it, I really hope Tom is in the dance off. I will cry if it came that close and was then snatched away 😢)

I must be dead inside as well. I don't get why he was getting emotional about his alive and well sister who's successful. People cry about anything these days. This series also has too many couples choices and not enough variety in the dances we are seeing. It appears we are seeing far less of certain tougher dances this series.

I didn’t get why he said he hardly ever gets a chance to tell her how proud he is or her. Does he not have her phone number?

It was weird that Tom said he 'doesn't get the chance' to say he's proud of Carrie - what he should have said is that he 'doesn't tell her he's proud of her often enough'. That was possibly what he was trying to say but it came across as though they just have such hectic lives that they literally do not have time to say things to each other, which is weird for two siblings who live in the same city and both have very active social media accounts.

I've been thinking more about how much I hate Couples Choice. If and when Rose gets to the final it will really annoy me when they choose to dance their Couples Choice again because it will mean missing out on seeing another of their amazing dances once more. The ones I'd most like to see are the tango (obv), the one they did to the Titanic theme, or the Viennese Waltz they did where they were arguing. Instead, it'll likely be their Couples Choice because of how much it meant to Rose (there always has to be some emotional story behind it, can never just be 'I thought this dance style would play to my strengths'), one of the above chosen by the judges, and their showdance.

Again! I am in a safe space here, my ( gay) brother and I msg during strictly every week .. he thinks john and johannes are getting my votes.... I did vote at start but too samey for me now , I told him last week that jojo was out dancing John , he didn't like it, then I sent him the hello article where James Jordan said the same and he ignored me all week😂, but he was back this evening and reminded me to vote for them as they ended up third from bottom, i just said "off to vote" didn't dare add "but not for them" 😂😂

I reckon she’s blocked him because he’s an insufferable twit 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I think you could be right if Rose and Gio do get to the final, the expectation will be for them to do that because of the poignancy of the message. But if it’s completely their choice, they might not go with it - Jay and Aliona didn’t do their jive in the final and that was there most iconic dance

I can imagine it was a very competitive household growing up. Maybe Tom’s trying to get her attention? I’d never heard of her before Strictly but he’s obviously a household name - she maybe is, that’s not really my scene - but it must have been quite tough for them as kids.

🆘🆘🆘 Does anyone know the antidote for when you start to feel even a teeny bit sorry got a Grade A Knob???🆘🆘🆘

That account is never accurate, they are a wind up merchant who pulls names and numbers out their arse 🥴 they are also the source of those made up voting figures that said Tom was topping the vote that the Daily Mail and other press reported as fact a couple of weeks ago :rolleyes:
 
If Tom does happen to be in the DO you can bet the waterworks will come out in force before, during and after his "dance" because the judges told him it was ok to cry 🙄

It's very hard to call the dance off tonight though, although I do feel J&J deserve one of the spots.

That account talks shite, they post multiple fake results and then delete them as they find out information from legit spoiler accounts.
