Until I found tattle this year I always read the Strictly Spoiler thread and quite honestly they were (as I remember) always right and that spoiler thread was quite funny at times. Don't bother with it now but went over to find the spoiler.

Is that the poster called Will who only joined DS three weeks ago, but has been posting on every thread going since? I don't know what to make of them, there is an air of 'A guy who works down the chip shop swears he saw Elvis' about his posts, but then there are BBC employees and the like on there who do occasionally post bits of info 🤷‍♀️

Yes. Very active on there for someone who joined so recently. Also not sure what to make of his posts. It seems suspicious that he would show up midway through a series, post a ton about the show and then claim to have spoilers.

At least he's not been rude when giving out the spoilers, more horrible posters on that forum than I could count.

Complete trolling. BBC never release the voting stats of Strictly for any year. And even if the BBC did release the voting figures. The weekly voting of who got the most votes, to who got the least votes wouldn't be released until after the final of the show, so that it won't influence the public perception or voting.

Also saying they work there or know someone who works there is bullshit. As stating thus on a public forum us risking their job, it wouldn't be difficult for the bbc to figure out who the person is, highly doubt an employee of the bbc who works with voting stats would be stupid enough or willing to lose their job by saying it.
 
There was once a poster on DS who did seem to have legit backstage knowledge. Apparently Jonnie and/or Alexandra complained about their pros in 2017.

They also mentioned why Gleb & Trent both left.

Not sure whether or not it was real but some of the info did add up.

Is this the same person who claims to work for the show on Twitter too. I'm just saying it's very stupid to say you work for the bbc & then proceed giving inside information. As they could lose their job & then legal action could be taken against them for divulging confidential information, as this would be in their employment contract and could lead to court action been taken against them. It's complete bullshit that this person is legit.

That spoiler person on Twitter who is a "runner" backstage is obviously a fraud given that they've got basically every result wrong.

The reason why I think the former DS poster (banned for a few years now) is legit is because they told us who the new pros in 2016 were before they were announced and also told us that Joanne was quitting in 2017.

This is what I said - "they" whoever they were always had the right info week after week and that was when the spoiler forum was a good laugh and there was no sniping and slagging off - how things change.

But didn't she say that the problem was with Gorka and Gemma as he was paying more attention to Gemma than her but how she made that out I don't know as he was spending all his teaching time with her and Gemma said they did not get together until the series finished.
