I find it so distasteful that they are making out as though they are the most generous people alive by donating plates and cutlery they were given for free. Something wrong about diverting donated goods through themselves to use for a day and then foisting them off on the lesser peasants because beggars can't be choosers and they will have to be satisfied with second hand goods. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Agree totally- it can be a nice chance for the mother to be to see her female pals before the baby arrives and she gets snowed under (and we all have different taste- my friends and I had pub lunches and we all hate the ‘games’ and cringe decor but hey if you like it get stuck in) but to have one for every child you bare seems over the top to me. You should have all you need and if people want to bring the baby a gift they will when they visit? I was invited to a baby shower for a baby number 3 and was conveniently busy 🤫

As for blokes at baby showers I find that nuts. It’s bad enough being there as a woman 🤣 my husband would respect that it would be my time to spend with friends before the madness of newborn life and leave me to enjoy their company (also he would not bloody want to be there let’s face it- same goes for my dad- probably not his number one use of his time on a Sunday 😆)

And why is the date on everything? I’ve never seen a cake with the date of the event on. That looks weird to me, like they’ve held it before, but asked everyone not to share until that date, and put the date on everything to make it clearly look like it happened yesterday.

Wonder what the rules are on tagging stuff as #gifted if you then donate it afterwards. Surely they can’t get around it by just sort of borrowing it?

The sister’s put “instead of being gifted” but they still used it for free.

Hmm definitely a bit weird, but I am leaning towards it having actually happened yesterday. The weather hasn't been like it was yesterday for a while in Essex

Exactly and if they are boys or girls you still have to raise them to eventually face the world on their own. The sex of the baby shouldn't matter at all once all goes well. I have 2 sons. I would be very happy if I had 7 once they were ok and good human beings
 
The sheer cheek of her sister to look for praise for donating ‘borrowed’ tables purely for a ridiculously pink explosion of a baby shower. Could IKEA not have donated them their self if they were so pleased to do charity work and keep it off social media? I find it a disgrace how many of these ‘celebrities’ do not actually have to pay for in return for flaunting it on instagram. Some families work their arse off just to be able to afford new furniture.
 
So her sister basically didn’t pay a penny she got it all gifted and then donated the stuff from IKEA to a charity to make herself look good. Stacey will probably also share some of the small business and they will both say the same thing they want to help small business as much as possible. No they just want freebies. After all Stacey admits she goes into shops and asks for free samples.

If I had a million pound house that I bought when i still owned another millions pound house I wouldn't dream of asking for freebies! They say the more money you have the tighter people can be! (not all there is some very generous celebs) it's they expect them aswell, she goes on and on about IKEA probably so they give her the freebies Beggy Mitchell indeed

Someone call the rags 📰 🗞 The Saintly Solomon sisters have scrounged thousands of pounds worth of furniture, balloons, tables and tables of food, hundreds of pounds of Prosecco for duck absolutely duck all - BUT! they’d so generous, thoughtful and considerate that they’re willing to offload the tables to the peasants of the world, now that they have no further use for them. Absolutely astounding. These two greedy, blood sucking paradises make me sick.
