I’ve never really understood the point of a baby shower, they didn’t exist when I had my babies and obviously it’s another American tradition we’ve adopted, but I honestly thought they were for first time mothers so that female family and friends could “shower” them with baby items, wisdom and love. So I don’t get why she’s having one for her fourth or why blokes are there

I personally don’t get the obsession of having a girl. Babies are tiny humans not dolls that you dress up and use as an accessory. Forcing a colour on a baby isn’t necessary. She will act like she hasn’t got a clue on raising a girl to drum up engagement and messages and advice from the sheep. The new baby will have no privacy from the day she is born. So sad.

I’ve seen all I need to see, sickly. My mates threw me a pink baby shower and my kid although born pink is definitely more khaki in personality. She’s a fierce four year old tomboy. With all them brothers piccalilli will be a bother boot wearing khaki personality too, hopefully
