tbf, sometimes when there is an unpaid bill and the company will apply to a court to allow bailiffs. In that instance they usually send a letter addresses to the occupants of the premises, rather than just the person who owes money.

It’s how I found out an ex flatmate years ago wasn’t paying our electricity bill..!

it affects Jamie because bailiffs are indiscriminate in what they take. Anything on the premise is fair game.

but it’s a weird thing to bring up on a podcast with your wife.. it’s almost like he’s trying to shame her into getting her life together. Which.. isn’t exactly a healthy approach.

I’m starting to think Sophie has more serious a problem than I initially thought. My ex flatmate had bad anxiety/drug abuse problems and wasn’t paying the bills because her life got so out of control and she couldn’t handle the smallest thing. Maybe Sophie is an ignorant idiot… or maybe this is a symptom of her anxiety.

eirher way, shaming someone on a podcast, bringing up that sort of private info in an effort to get them to pull themselves together is 1. Pretty unempathetic and 2. Probably won’t work.

I don’t think it’s that weird that he’s opening her mail especially if she clearly isn’t. It’s not like he’s going through her phone. It’s also not like she can’t afford to pay the bill! She most likely isn’t contributing to much in that household

yeh agreed. I don’t find it that bad he’s going through her mail.

it’s odd to bring up her finances (even mentioning her bank!!!!) On a podcast though IMO

There’s a reason the Tory’s are clamping down on smoking and dogs instead of drugs, and social circles like this are the reason why…don’t get me wrong, ❄️ moves in all circles but thinking people like her wouldn’t touch it is wild, how else are they all drinking moët for 12 hours straight at the races and barely tipsy 🫢
 
Can we please also address the dress? A hideous and misguided choice. Gives off massive Debbie McGee circa 1980s vibes.
