I have a theory that relates to this. MG let it slip that she didn’t want to have kids and Sophia’s chucked a massive tanty given how mAtErNaL she is. She’s taken it as a massive breach of their “loyalty, trust and honesty” since they were looking into IVF and she wanted to create another devil’s spawn she can palm off to the next PA. Since she landed back in the Tulla mansion she’s uploaded multiple stories/posts with her kids, most notably just after she arrived “home” with the caption “a privilege.” which screams that something happened relating to MG and her babies???

My theory is smoph being her progressive self said we can be open while you're in Italy and MG said no I only want to be with you I want monogamy etc (she was supposedly the one who wanted to be engaged)

Nek minnit Maddie is living her best life out of the clutches of her controlling relationship, cheats with the teammate, doesn't tell Sophia.... But is emotionally pulling away. Being the controlling narc she is, miss CEO rushes over on business class to surprise/remind MG. After the coach texts about training they get into a blowup that Maddie doesn't even care that smoph came all the other way to claim back control spend time with her and MG ended up admitting she cheated on her too and they should be open

Smoph couldn't handle the bEtRayAl... How DARE anyone else change their mind??? Only she is allowed to do that. Heads back to tulla crying and enjoying the higher engagement on Instagram a la Olivia molly rogers

Yep I agree. She didn’t specifically say anything about cheating, more about loyalty. Which could mean loyalty to maddie’s team (being called back to training) over Sophie flying all the way there and still being ‘chosen second’. And she knew exactly what kind of response she would get by insinuating maddie cheated, soph gets to be the victim while her stans flock to attack maddie. She knows maddie is more of a private person and wouldn’t say anything. Sophie is a narcissist, everything she does is extremely calculated and strategic. I don’t believe a word she says.
 
Often with distance comes time to think and gain perspective and I think MG was able to realise with that perspective that the relationship wasn’t great. I don’t know if she cheated and don’t care really but I think being in Italy with other career sports people/female humans would have made her seen the light. Her future isn’t in Tulla’s Terminal 5 with Mr Ed. Maybe she wants to stay in Europe? Travel more? Maybe come back to Aus but have a serious business and career where reputation matters? Maybe she is sick to death of doing dumb ads for shit PJ’s? I could go on but I truly don’t know how anyone would choose to couple up with SC and have to live HER life. It seems selfish, without purpose and boring. And I’ll add that if Maddie gets back together with her, she is dead to me

This is my favourite theory. There were still posts me pyjamas & shit after they got back from their aborted trip, and all the shit talk about monogamy, etc. I think Maddie has decided to put her career first - maybe staying longer, maybe no babies, maybe even told soph not to come over at Xmas, but I think she’s making herself #1 after the last couple of years. Nothing wrong with wanting to put everything you have in, to get back to the top - 3v3, maybe even Opals. And Sophie didn’t like it.
