Deli is the one that's chosen to do play and record a legacy so quickly. She could do shorter videos over a longer time producing regular uploads and videos that are well edited and entertaining. Instead she's making long videos that are rushed and still missing out details that most simmers would include. Like her last video starts with something like that's iris she's pregnant she met her wife at the bar and your like wait Iris was a kid last episide. Sims are boring at least include the important life events in your videos.

It’s taking hours, you guys. Can this possibly be the hardest Deli has ever worked?

She pisses me off so much. She could never hold a normal job, that's for sure.

I thought she was cancelling her stream again because of the whole thing she posted about Twitch  but no, it's because THE LP TAKES UP TOO MUCH OF HER TIME. Like what the heck.

She's been complaining about her LP like 6 times already and I don't even watch her videos anymore so that's telling.

How is a LP on a short lifespan longer than her usual LPs ? She's even "cheating" by aging up the sims, isn't she ? I don't understand. Does that mean that when she makes a video where she builds it only takes her like 1 or 2 hours ? When I build something in the sims I spend 3 days on it lol. Maybe that's why her builds are always rushed.

And I just don't understand how you can complain so much about your own content to your followers. Dude if you hate the thing just complain to James or something (poor guy lol). Man, thank god she gives up on all her LPs if she's gonna act like that when she follows through with one. 😂

I haven't watched the videos but how is she posting 1 hour long videos and having jumps from kid to adult, ughhhh...

She's decided to do a ten gen legacy in ten play sessions so she's speeding through the generations she thought that playing on short life span would be quicker which it is but not quick enough for her. She could just play shorter sessions and upload shorter videos with more content and storyline. Instead she uploads long videos because people asked for more character development and sims content She has included longer videos she just forgot to include the content. She did say she will go back to her old way of making let's plays. So that's starting a let's play having a nonsensical storyline where she shoe horns a lesbian storyline into it before ending it randomly after 3 videos.

I can already see a hipster lesbian wereWOOF couple for the new LP.

Seriously, sometimes she's just pushing it for no reason other than to be inclusive. In this short lifespan legacy challenge, you can't even keep up with who identifies as what. In previous LPs she kept forcing relationships even though no one was feeling it.

I’ll see your hipster lesbian werewoof and raise you Vegan hipster lesbian Werewoof.

"I looooooooove Monday, Monday is my favourite day of the week" Yeah, you've said that like 30 times before already

"I don't understand why people don't like Monday"... Huh... Maybe because you've never had a real job in your life and people don't like going back to WORK ? Am I on drugs or what ??

"I will add some colour but not now because CUSHIONS ARE EXPENSIVE"... But your useless 500$ shoes aren't ? CUSHIONS ARE EXPENSIVE YOU GUYS. SHE CAN'T AFFORD THE CUSHIONS, LET'S GIVE HER SOME SUPPORT !!

OH GOOD LORD, she's talking about her LP AGAIN !! 😂 "It takes me 3 to 4 hours of playtime and then editing" (oh I thought it was at least 4, now it's 3 or 4, mokay)

"I wanted to prerecord before going to Sydney but it's not gonna happen"... I'm getting my bingo out you guys, so much stuff to tick off the list. 🤭 She is admitting to giving up on LPs before lol, she says she doesn't want to do that anymore.

Also, I know I've talked about this before, but this is the perfect example : she's spending 500$ on useless shoes but she's making oats and she's cutting the recipe by adding water instead of milk because it's less expensive... How sad is this. Or is she trying to sound relatable like "look you guys I'm poor like you" ? 😂

She's saying so much dumb stuff in this video, I'm done. 😂

Actually, one more thing, because it's pissing me off. It's still the same subject but it's like she's completely oblivious. She's saying that it's 1:30pm and that she still has to play the sims and edit the video of it. She has the audacity of saying "I don't know how you guys have kids, how do you find the time to work all day, take care of your mental health, take care of the house...." after saying it was 1:30PM and she had done nothing all morning (she basically moved a shelf out of the way and that's it).

The cushions that SHE wants are expensive. I just got new cushions from H&M. The quality is amazing and honestly, they just look expensive. But Deli is above the high street stuff!

or her favourite; married couple but the wife has an affair with another woman and decides she’s now a lesbian

*Snowy Escape LP flashbacks*

I think there are two ways to do LPs well. You either go fully scripted, very machinima-esque (like Deli's Hampton Falls) or simply play the game without cheating, set some goals and gradually develop the story along with the viewers (like James does). One OR the other. Because if you're forcing some pre-determined story and that story is not translating into the game, that LP is as good as dead.

What happened with deli? I don’t remember her acting like this years ago. She seemed much cooler and funnier back then. Or maybe she’s always been this way and my tastes changed?

No, I feel the same. Deli used to be much more energetic and the videos were, dare I say, really good? I think it's because once they reach a million subscribers, they get more comfortable and feel like the "hard work" is behind them.

One things that annoys me about Deli is she always seems hyper aware of what commenters are going to say or any criticism she might get. Like when she grooms bowser on camera and has to say “I’m sure some of you are experienced dog groomers who will say I’m doing it wrong” or overexplaining why she hires handymen to do small jobs and defending every thing she does before she does it. It’s very grating.

Just thought I would post this comparison..

I watch a non-Sims YouTuber who works a 9-5 Mon-Fri office job, just moved house and got married, and she posts 2/3 videos a week to her channel - one is a weekly vlog which must take a while to edit, and then she’ll usually do 1-2 sit down videos too. She’s also pretty social and is out most weekends with her husband/friends. I’ve been watching her for a while and I have yet to hear complain ONCE about how hard it is to juggle everything she is doing, yet with Deli you hear nothing but complaints. I know she’s posts more than 2/3 videos a week but in my opinion they should be pretty simple to edit as all she does it cut out footage.

I think she changed a lot after deciding to do YT full-time. I started watching her channel a month or two before she left her job, and I remember her being soooo different. I really liked her back then, but within a year of that transition, I unsubscribed and couldn't stand watching her anymore.

Honestly, I think she's always been like this, but the fame/money has gone to her head. She always gave me spoiled vibes. Like her parents coddled her, paid for her college, helped her pay her bills when she was short etc. She's always had this helpless victim vibe too. James had to help her start her Twitch channel. James had to help her when her computer stopped working. This was WAY before they were dating! It's like she can't do anything for herself. She does things impulsively because she's never faced consequences. She showed personal information on stream and didn't seem to learn from it because someone is always there to "fix" the problem. Daddy, James, her audience, everyone handles Deli with kid gloves. Makes me wonder what Deli is like behind the scenes. 😬

When she started making good money on Youtube, her true nature started to come to the surface. Everyone kissed her butt and said how great she was. Her letterbox literally crapped out free stuff from companies every single week. Nintendo sent her a Wii U, Sony sent her a Playstation 4 and she started feeling full of herself. She was special, she won a best Sims player award at an EA event and felt like she could do no wrong. She found out she could do less work and still make thousands of dollars a month, so that's what she decided to do. That's a very slippery slope to come back from. Once you get in the habit of doing the bare minimum, it is very difficult to go back to "high production". Recently it's felt like Deli had a good hold on content creation circa 2015 and then fell asleep for seven years, woke up and hasn't realized that content creation has changed. People don't find her content interesting anymore. She can either change, at great personal/mental/financial strain or continue to do what has always worked but doesn't work now. I bet you can figure out which one she is going to pick.

This is why I don't think full-time Youtube/Twitch streaming, or really any very solitary pursuit, is particularly good for people or their mental health. You need to get bounced around by society in all it's many positive, negative or purely indifferent forms (be that via friends, family, co-workers, people who hold you to deadlines, people who depend on you, people who you need to be polite to even when you can't bear 'em). All these different interactions make you who you are: a rounded, capable individual who can deal with setbacks and changes to the best of your natural and learned abilities.

If you lock yourself away every day and your main source of social activity is a bunch of kids on Twitch or Instagram saying "love you no matter what, you do you bestie xxxx"...it's like eating only sweets all day. It may be fun...but it ain't nutritionally balanced, for body or mind.

She's also insecure about offending anyone about anything. She often says stuff like "I don't like this... BUT IF YOU LIKE IT IT'S TOTALLY OKAY". She'll say that about anything (about the sims for example, pieces of furniture or clothing).
