Do people actually cry on their period?
I think we can all agree James can do better and you can tell Deli isn't as invested in the relationship then James. Do you reckon Deli and James bought the house together?
I always feel rough on the first day of my period, wish I could just go home and not have to work but here we are in the real world having to continue on with our jobs! Do people actually cry on their period? I am a very emotional person but I don't think I have ever cried on my period.
Jovan from the sims community is blaming EA for him being horrible to his friends, for smoking and he says He is suffering with PTSD. Also has list of demands of EA which Include a $100,000 donation to charity.
I skimmed through most of this once I realised that the structure is all over the place and I’m confused
Did EA actually make any demands on this or was it just him putting too much pressure on himself?
I could maybe sort of see their POV if there was a contract with EA to produce certain content and meet certain criteria without allowing for breaks

"WARNING: This is an approximately 40 minute read. Sit back down. Relax."
OK nope, good day to you sir
I mean... She did that once. Years ago she bleeping guilted people into donating to her so she could go to a Sims camp (or some event they had - I thought they always paid for the travel for their shills, but I guess this one they didn't? Idk) and was telling them she couldn't afford it and guikted donations by saying if she couldn't go she wouldn't get to do meetups with them... Like... It was at that point I tossed her in the garbage bin bc that is disgusting. If you can't afford a trip, that's on YOU.Exactly. If Deligracy came on stream tomorrow saying how she struggles financially, these people would probably order a couple of these hoodies and/or give money via Twitch, no questions asked.
She really makes me cringe when she goes on about her period. Everyone else manages to carry on with their life/work/responsibilities and not post attention seeking videos and selfies over it.
From what I have heard about the Creator Network, there are different tiers to the creators. Top creators have more pressure and expectations than small creators. I wouldn't be surprised if EA made big creators adhere to a different contract than other creators. If you have 100,000's of people coming to you for their Sims news, you better have it posted and ready by the time the embargo lifts. That's how you make your money and if you are late, your audience will find another place to get their news. I've heard from many past and present Game Changers that the time to create content is very short. It used to be a week or a weekend before the pack released but the time has gotten shorter and shorter. That's what confused me about Game Changers doing "reviews" of packs. How can you review everything in the pack in two days? Spoiler Alert, you can't but you can use "review" as a nice buzzword to get a ton of views.I have friends in the creator network and I’ve heard that they can get a short time ahead of a game release to make content and upload It but there is absolutely nothing that says they must Do it by x date.
I think that was the Simmers Meetup in 2016. Considering the event was created by Sims content creators and not the company, she had to pay her own way. I thought it was a bit disgusting to ask your fans for something frivolous like that however, there are a lot of creators on Twitch that ask their fans to send them to Twitchcon. Not saying it is right to ask your fans to fundraise a vacation for you, but it's part of the culture there. However, I remember Deli asking her fans to help her pay for a new car. That rubbed me the wrong way. You want a new car, you figure out how to bankroll it, not your fans.I mean... She did that once. Yeah, not the worst thing I've seen though. Remember Hurricane Harvey? Vixella made a video saying her parents and grandparents houses had flooded and she made a gofundme for them so her fans could help. I think her fans raised like $13,000. There was never any pictures of damage or any talk after that about clean up or updates. About 6 months later Vixella bought a house. Now, if you had tens of thousands of dollars in your bank account [enough for a down payment] why wouldn't you give that to your family? OR darker thought, since she set up the gofundme, she got her fans to pay for her house. Not accusing anyone of anything BUT this is quite the coincidence if you ask me. And then she showed off her house and talked about all the construction and changes she was paying to have done to the house. Something just doesn't add up here. You begged people to help your family but you turn around and buy a house PLUS pay for all these upgrades like demolishing a bathroom you thought was ugly. I never understood how rich people with privilege dare to ask others for help. Use your own pile of money to do it! That's why I don't watch any big Sims creators. They are all snakes.SHE WHAT NOW ?

Back on topic, unless you are part of the super secret discord and have seen the contracts and heard EA's requirements for the Game Changers, all you can do is speculate. From what I have heard from creators who left the program, it was hell. Some people stick it out because they make good money and others flee like rats from a sinking ship.

It’s actually comicalI just read this and I’m SO irritated and disgusted by this guy. It’s a shame because i find him to be super reputable when it comes to leaks and providing info, but I will no longer support this guy. He is blaming EA for burn out even though HE DOESNT EVEN WORK FOR EA. He is literally making money and has created a business BECAUSE of EA. If it weren’t for them he wouldn’t have the sims to create content on. Maybe it’s because I am in accounting, but this guy has no place to say he is “burnt out” by a company he doesn’t work for. I am all for taking care of your mental health but he’s obviously prioritizing his career and business over his health and has no one to blame but himself. I am DISGUSTED by the fact that he thinks a large corporation like EA owes him a formal apology. For what??? They are a business. They are just doing their jobs. And a $100,000 donation to a charity? For what? As someone who is in accounting, I can almost guarantee they do make donations for write off purposes. No need to demand more out of them for absolutely no reason. And his demand for EA to get on his computer to see what his work load look like??? Why?? What do they care with what you do with YOUR business? Maybe you need to hire someone to help lighten your work load?
I truly can not believe what I have read. I can’t believe he is blaming EA for his mental health issues when HE DOESNT WORK THERE AND IS TECHNICALLY MAKING A HEALTHY LIVING AND BUSINESS OFF IF THEM. He should be THANKFUL his business is doing well because of EA.
I am not saying EA is perfect, but they are a business. And not only that, but they are a business that have nothing to do with The Sims Community. As a business, they owe us nothing and we owe them nothing. If there is a pack you don’t like, don’t buy it. If there is a game they release you aren’t interested in, don’t buy it. Gaming like any industry is subjective. Everyone has their own opinions and it is impossible for them to make everyone happy. If you aren’t happy, maybe create a business off of something that makes you happy. Not one that gives you “PTSD.”
I just can’t believe what I just read and can’t get over the audacity these sims content creators can have.

OMG! So happy for herOn a much happier note, Congratulations to Pleasant Sims (Cindy)! She's expecting a baby in December! ❤
